The 8945 is pretty good though , Its metal , 25 round mag , pistol and mine hasn't jammed yet , also the distance and fps is good for a spring and the slide has perfect strength , Not loose , but not hard , Its been through mud , snow , and dirt and it still works just fine , The mud although like any airsoft or real gun would jam it , but you can disassemble it and I cleaned it out.

I don't think they are that bad a deal. At a local flea market you can get one of the pistols from 3 to 5 bucks. For 3 to 5 bucks, for something that actually shoots over 10 feet that is a heck of a deal. Toy pistols at Wal-Mart that don't shoot at all cost at least $3. So really you aren't getting "ripped off", it's more of a getting what you pay for thing. I just got one for my son earlier today, $3. It shoots hard enough to leave a nice little red welt on my back, way more than I expected.

I bought a similar gun like that from a ukarms brand its sucks for distance but i upgraded it i put a lot of ducktape on it and upgraded the spring and replaced the lazer and flash light and the barrel so the bb wont skid off in a random direction and all round the gun was 4 or 5 bucks and in total I spent 10 dollars and its pretty good durable shoots far and acurate lazer

I won't lie, gas is finite, but chances are, you'd be out before long given that. if you played for 30 minutes shooting a spring gun, your arm would probably get tired ( I know mine would ) honestly, TM's GBBs have a realistic hard kick which could get tiring, but it's not as bad as cocking. another thing about springs, it's very hard to keep lined up with your sights having to cock each time. On a final note, pistol matches usually don't last 30 minutes.

My UKARMS works just fine for me. Also, whose fault is it for buying a plastic gun with a laser sight? Their higher end (AKA not $5, mine ran me $17, which is still dirt cheap) guns have metal internals, a removable metal slide, and much higher quality plastic grips. My only complaint is the crappy BBs, but seriously, I'm sure you want more that the 47 or so crappy BBs they give you.

These are $1 spring pistols. Do you expect to run on par with a $125 Gas Blowback Pistol? Seriously, I just get it since it's so cheap. I can get 5 for $15. Actually I can get 4 for $7, but there's an $8 1911 that looks sexy so I'll get it just for the looks. If you ever see spring in a pistol it sucks. Also, no airsoft gun is going to be a good one unless it's over $100. That's for pistols and snipers. Shotguns should cost around $50. AEGs should definitely be over $200 if you want a good one.

It is not a good idea to base the quality of all UKArms products solely on their lowest priced handguns. The pistol you purchased is around $1 at wholesale price and retails for $3-$5. You definitely won't find a high quality item for such a cheap price. Decent spring pistols cost anywhere between $25-$50, so of course when you see a spring pistol being sold for a tenth of that price, you can't expect the same quality.

Those pistols are really at the lower end of the scale for guns from UK Arms. If you still are intrested in trying plastic spring pistols a really good one is a double eagle M27 it looks kinda like a glock. It has a Metal barrel and a locking slide and the magazine hold 19-21 rounds! It also has been cronographed to shoot 300 fps! You get all that for under $10 bucks at most airsoft retailers

I had a Crossman C11 i think it was called it took CO2 and shot 400 fps. It broke in less than 100 rounds... The Walther that I had broke due to my carelessness of trying to disassemble since it was my first airsoft gun. However, don't expect much for anything under $100. Also, if you buy an automatic gun make sure the price is over $200.
