I've got the Grapewave variant of him coming in the mail and I can't wait to have this guy in hand. I've seen so many pictures of him and heard so many good things about him, I'll be happy to finally own him.

And holy fuck, that light piping IS great. I really love it when they give us light piping in the visor (or whatever else serves as the eyes), it's just an awesome detail that they don't have to put in, they just do because they know it's badass.

The hips are loose on mine too.

I picked up the purple version on super cheap sale mode. I gotta say though that the grey silver conalt combo is much prettier than the purple version.

If you can find him at target he is on sale for 4.99 right now.

I wonder if they will make him purple in the animated series now that he has been found out as being a spy. Just with them making a purple version of this toy or do you think it is just hasbro doing the usual making money out of the same mold with a repaint. would like to see him purple in the tv series. great 2 part review buddy keep them comming :)

Again, another great review. However, you seemed to be having some trouble to understand which legs belong to Longarm and which legs that belong to Shockwave. Based on what we've just saw, Shockwave has Longarm's legs! Therefore, they are the other way around. Overall, great transformation skills, just need to work on the legs a bit more often. I really liked it, anyways! Take care!

And you can do the G1: Scene Flip with his chest, that is kickass.

One of my favorite characters in Transformers. Shockwave is such an awesome Transformers figure, whether it be Animated or G1.

Oh, he's got the light feature in his eye? That's awesome. That's one thing that made Lugnut so disappointing. He doesn't have that.

Oh, and if you want to get challenging toys: Masterpiece Megatron and G1 Sixshot. And they're both awesome.

I adore the animated line (the cartoon actually gets vey interesting by mid-season 2), Shockwave is one of my favourites of the bunch -though I see him as only having 2 modes, shockwave and the tank - the other two don't really add anything to the toy IMHO.
