  • I see that your screwed into the helmet. Doesn't that affect the structural integrity of the helmet?

    -Josen

  • @JosenReola oh, it totally compromises the integrity of the helmet.. that's for sure.. small price to pay for all the cool points... you should see my version 2 of this lid.. I added electronics and a voice changer.. come back to this vid, and click on the link!!

  • @tigerpause444

I just read the description disclaimers about the helmets not being DOT approved. That sucks considering the helmets are really cool and must get lots of thumbs up on the road if used. Cool helmets man.

    -Josen

  • @iRJRx you should see my version 2 of this lid.. I added electronics and a voice changer.. come back to this vid, and click on the link!!

  • @Valca000 no, my youtube channel is my website.. is deviantart very popular? Should I look into it?

  • Que grande... magnifico.

  • @rotry thanks!!

  • Like it very much, but can you imagine the wind noise while riding?

  • @baascorne wind noise? I can't hear any wind noise... because my iPod is blaring while I ride.. :)

  • omg dude u r the funniest hope u dont wear these lol

  • im not trying to knock you man but by drilling screws into the helmet you greatly damaged the structural integrity of the helmet.

  • @frogger4th .. thanks.. I'm fully aware of that.. my disclaimer is in my description.. thanks for caring

  • @unclesonnyonutube .. actually, in the beginning of my video (around 0:06)< a link appears in the upper left hand corner, click there to see the latest version, with the voice changing capabilities

  • so thats all legal?

  • @phantomhockeyzero ... cops haven't bothered me yet.. but Hawaii's different.. we don't have a helmet law... you can ride a motorcycle as long as you have something protecting your eyes.. so our state may be more lenient than yours..

  • @tigerpause444 cool.

  • how did u do that

  • @Yugioh199141 . sorry.. I'm not allowed to reveal that (my 5 year old son and I made a pact)

  • @ltownposse .. that's cool..

  • umm.. doesn't the mouthpiece look a little er... broken on the side? o.O

  • @gwidao123 ..good observation... I didn't have the proper cutting tools on this helmet..

  • @tigerpause444 hey but that's really easy to fix 8D, just use something hot lightly on plastic that it kinda melts smoothly, if you use something like a heated knife or even sand it a bit, it should give a better finishing touch. by the way, i love your work, keep it up.

  • @gwidao123 thanks for the tips!!that's much appreciated.. I'm releasing 2 helmets either later today or tomorrow.. stay tuned!! or subscribe if you like.

    tigerpause

  • @gwidao123 .. hahaha! yes! I didn't have the proper cutting tools while working on this lid.. I just left it as is.. I may fix it one day..

  • really cool, the top piece needs to come more forward, but im sure you left it like that on purpose because of the windshield has to flip up

My friends and I wore Bee and Optimus and BEE got waaaay more attention and was more recognizable by kids. Maybe BEE's yellow attracted them

  • hahaz.. go make one power ranger for the kids!! it's round anyway

  • not a bad idea at all.. my son would love a power ranger's motorcycle helmet!!

  • I would really love to have that as a motorcycle helmet and ride one with this on :D

    5stars

  • cool!! let me know how your project goes!

  • You've inspired me to do something like this to wear on my motorized bicycle.

you should do a stormtrooper if you get the chance

  • Good luck on your project! let me know how it goes.

I would LOVE to do a Stormtrooper.. I'll definitely consider that one for the future!!

  • God that´s cool!

  • thanks for the comment ShadeTaco!! :)

we did an online vote and my Optimus beat out Bumblebee motorcycle helmet..

You should check out my Darth, Jack in the Box, and Fuzzy furred helmets.

    thanks for stopping by.. Holla

  • This is awesome! I'm curious, did you just use superglue or something? It looks like there are some screws in there, too. Are you worried about weakening the structural integrity of the helmet? I'd love to do something like this to my helmet, but I'm worried it would make the helmet not as protective.

  • first, thanks for the comment.. The pieces are indeed adhered by short 3/8" screws. I am aware that screws in a helmet is not DOT approved, and it does reduce the integrity of the helmet..

    Less protective? probably.

That's why I only wear these helmets on commutes, and speed limit rides..

Although it's a risk to wear these helmets, so is riding any motorcycle..

I have fun wearing these helmets, and I have fun riding.. Just gotta hope for the best out on the streets.

  • no... it wouldnt make ur helmet less protective cause its actually ur helmet being used and added by some decorations...

  • thanks for catching my back, but I think there may be some danger of the pieces getting caught on the asphalt (should I go down) - knock on wood.

someone told me that helmets are designed to be smooth without extrusions for that purpose... pieces that are attached easily break off when a helmet hits the asphalt.

    thanks though

  • btw, do you tint the visors because there like 50 bucks a piece?

  • No, I buy them... the reason I can afford all these shields is because all my helmets are used (slightly). I don't buy raggedy lids...

  • Nice, maybe ill see you around. idk maybe i already have.

  • Yups.. see you around.. don't be a stranger

  • so havnt seen a yellow gsxr yet?

  • this is the pure awesomnes !

  • thanks!! come to my channel and check out my other helmets!

  • i think this one is better

  • Thanks for the input Rdsxfn24!!

  • Very COOL! ahahah love it!

  • Thanks!! the kids (my own, and every other little kid I see in vehicles) love it!! parents get a kick out of it too..

  • lol... test run is ganna interesting, tell me about when you do =)

  • OPTIMUS passed the 100+mph test!! Surprisingly, even with his side blades sticking out past the helmet, there was less wind drag on this helmet vs. Bumblebee..

    See you around fjge27..

  • thats awsome

    lol 1st coment
