  • So good T_T

  • runny兄さんはなぜこんなに料理が旨いのか><

    よーし今夜は嫁に寄せ鍋作ってやるか!

  • I am watching this video on my I phone and I can't find the subscribe button can someone help me?

  • @EkizochikkuDorimu ask your mom to buy it

  • What sort of pot could you use for this if you don't have a clay one?

Or, where would you be able to order one from? I haven't been able to find one near where I live.

  • and something to substitute sake... they sell them here but you have to be like 18+ to buy some -.-...

  • @EkizochikkuDorimu Daishi powder you can get at any asian market. But I highly recommend making is from its raw ingredients. It's very easy, to see it done watch Cooking with Dog. They make a few varieties. As for sake substitue...not really one that I can think of. You can leave out though and still have an awsome dish.

  • @amerein2006 A good sake substitute is a dry sherry. But most large supermarkets now will probably sell a sake. In the UK the big Tesco or Sainsbury's almost always have it.

  • guys, anyone know what dashi powder is or something like that?

we dont have any here -.-

  • the way you eat it makes it look yummy ah ur soo lucky i wish i lived in japan n u and cookin wif dog are my fav

  • Such calm music. Puts a smile on my face. =)

  • This reminds me of Cooking Mama.. i dont know why lol

  • haha vegitables makes me laugh

  • Are the shitaki mushrooms in western supermarkets on steroids? the ones I see in these videos are always a lot smaller lol. This worries me a bit...

  • OH that is so neat! I never knew to de-vein a shrimp using a toothpick. To me, that is a definite show of survival skill.

  • do you use soft or firm tofu?

  • Ponzu sauce is my favorite sauce.

Ponzu sauce is light and sour.

I pour Ponzu sauce onto many dishes.

Like meat, fish, vegetable, and so on.

    -

    ポン酢は私の大好きなソースです。

    ポン酢ソースはあっさりしていてすっぱいです。

    私はポン酢を多くの料理にかけます。

    肉、魚、野菜、などです。

  • We always eat it with sesame sauce tho... I tried ponzu sauce and it tasted weird....xD

  • Made this today and my boyfriend said I didn't make enough cause it's too good. I also made some sesame sauce and it goes great with nabe. Best nabe recipe ever! =D

  • great video mate, your English is fine

  • @W0706408 it's just different broth and different ingredients. They're very similar to me as I have tasted both

  • Nabe is my favorite food :)

  • Wats the different between this & sukiyaki ?

  • I learned my lesson never name mushrooms in japanese

  • oishiiiiii!!!

  • oishi sou :)

  • Very nice job

  • I love Japanese food but dashi stock in America particular dashi powder or the Fish flakes to make dashi stock is SO expensive. 18$ for a 1 1/2lb box is ridiculous.

  • Dude that looks sooo good

  • LMFAO if anyone here knew what nabe meant in hokkien, they would laugh their asses off

  • @kbd668 ok what does it mean? ^^ A rough translation?

  • @xshadowsxheartx its crude >_>, go find out yourself

  • i want to take you home and keep you as a keychain :D

  • @patissoriano lmao! That sounds slightly sinister! >_< Hope you mean it in a cute way :P

  • White wine

  • Thanks.... now I know how to cook nabe...

  • thank you I like your style!

  • thank you I like your style!

  • Japan has so many sauces! Soy sauce , tonkatsu sauce , teriyaki sauce , mentsuyu , tempura sauce , and this ponzu sauce... and alot more

  • hmm oh I might try this. its not that difficult!

also people the cup size doesnt really matter much, its all about ratios. often when I make something for very hungry people I just use a larger cup. :)

  • CWDはいつもおもしろいと思いますけどかわいいRunnyさんがべつに大学生にとってもっと簡単な作り方を教えてあげますね。ありがとう!

And I agree with everyone that your english is great - much better than my Japanese :)

  • When I get into my apartment and start living on my own, I'm going to try making all of these! Well, as many as I can. They seem really easy to make, delicious, and not too expensive if you shop at the correct stores.

  • Oh yeah me too but im only 16 so i have to wait some time ^^

  • The music sounds like wonderking or maplestory music

i have like none of those ingredients

  • I wish i could make this.

I know where I can find those vegetables but the store to get them is very far away.

I would substitute them but i dont know what to substitute them with, and i think the flavors would only be best with vegetables found most in japan.

  • If you can do with konbu kelp, I think it's better. I'm just lazy.

  • I like your videos because believe or not out of all the Japanese cooking videos on Youtube, your videos make Japanese cooking very accessible. :) Arigato!

  • Thank you :) I really want everyone to be able to try the recipe. I know it's still hard for some people to get all those ingredients but I'll try to introduce the easier way to you all. Hope it is working :)

  • Yea! I love this video, I wish I could come eat with you. It looks so yummy. I never thought of removing the vegetables from the soup and dipping them in ponzu. I bet it would the flavor nice. Do you ever use Kamaboko in your soup? I wish we could get kamaboko in the USA I want to try it. Does it taste like surimi? We can get that here. Maybe I could substitute it. Great video, it is nice to see you taste it. Susie
