rods are actually flying insects. cant remember why they go elongated though, its something to do with the frame rate or something. they even have proof.

Keep going Jose, you remind us that the Universe is an infinitely more
complex place than the mutton headed sceptics want us to believe.
In their arrogance they act as if they have the answers to any and
every thing. Science sets itself up as the new religion and is every bit
as moronic as those bygone Clerics and Theologians who claimed
they had the answer to everything and that there was nothing that
they couldn't explain. We need not trouble ourselves but go play in our
sand box. It's OK.
