For all you people asking how he knew the next pokemon would be shiny, he didn't. He could've started recording when he got a chain at at least 40, then run around with his max repel. Then he used the pokeradar every 50 steps until a shiny appeared.

You use a Repel, then use the PokeRadar and if one on the patches of grass sparkles (like the one in the vid) go to that patch of grass and a shiny Pokemon should be there, if not just run around and re-charge the PokeRadar battery and do it again....get it?

Sigh.. The Poke radar increases your chance of finding a Shiny. The longer the chain, the bigger the chance. When he got a high enough chain, he used Max Repel and the Radar over and over again untill he got a Shiny patch. That's NOT cheating dumpasses.
