@msdawn1 I haven't tried any other kind of juice to bring down the PH. But you can research it by looking up liquid ph balancer or nutralizers. Also you may want to try adding warm water in the place of the aloe juice. Thanks for watching.
@haley8uXD Yes, local. But, I will be sellling it on my web-site at the beginning of next year. If you wont to purchase it now. Go to my web-site and fill out a message request form. The cost will be $5.00 and $2.00 for shipping.
I just purchased jojoba, almond, rosemary, orange oil for a daily spritz. I have locs so I cant do the lotions- heres where I get lost a little, I checked out kimmay tube & remember her saying that water was more alkaline than our hair, how do I expand my concoction? Would distilled water be okay ? half water, than almond oil as a carrier, than my essential oil; what do you think?
@TheSkyhazFallen Water is 7 which is neutral and is more alkaline than hair. So what i would do is add the water and your oils along with aloe vera juice to bring the alkaline down. Or you could add all that is mention and add that soft n free spray that is mention in my video. Don't forget your perservative if you use aloe vera juice. Thanks 4 watching.
@ashantirae You can add vitamin E, But i wanted something that said that its a preservative. So i went on New Directions Aromatics Inc. And found these two preservative call Liquid Germall Plus & Grapefruit seed-60/40. I really like them both and the price aint that bad, because you don't have to use that much. I hope this help.
The ph of kimmays leave in is 4 and your mixture including her leave in is 4 also? Explain the preservative stuff , so does that mean that you put the mixture in the refrigerator?
@ashantirae Hi ashantirae, Kimmaytube mixture is a 4 or 4.5 either is good. When i combine mine with hers i make sure it stays at a 4 or 4.5 by adding aloe vera juice. The preservative keeps your product from growing bacteria, because of the aloe vera juice. Aloe vera juice will spoil if not refrigerated. Preservative also give your product a longer shelf life. Almost all home made products need preservatives in them especially if you use natural ingredients and do not refrigerate them.
@sapmolina I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I order the butters from New Directions Aromatics Inc. I don't remember the price, because its been over a year. But they do have good butters. And yes the aloe vera juice does go in the frig. So, when you use it in your products you have to put a preservative in it so it wont go bad. I hope this answers your questions.
I think I am allergic to aloe Vera juice, could you suggest another type of juice to put in my mix to make it ph balanced. Thank you for this video.

So will you still need to refrigerate this with the preservative in it or no?
cpitam 6 months ago
@cpitam No. The perservatives give the lotion shelf life. Meaning it wont go bad. I hope this answers your question.
