Well how can you say it's the best twin-turbo? For what type of job? So many different types of jobs out there that require different airplanes....Lets see a KA350 do what a Twin otter, Buffalo, -7 can do...
@ryno200 I prefer the MU-2. Trues out well over 300, can be stopped in less than 2000 feet on any surface. Has zero airframe AD's, and with proper pilot training, is extremely safe to operate.
@bman2101 I guess it depends where you use the airplanes, we stick with older Be20s since you don't have to worry about warming up the avionics bays at -40 since it still uses the old gyro system instead of EFIS, plus when your planes are 30+ years old you're not to worried about them getting beat up a little on gravel strips, just have the metal shop manufacture patch plates when they get too rough. But I can see people using newer equipment in more densely populated places with better strips.
sorry but the best twin turboprop would have to be the Mitsubishi MU-2. Once you know the real story behind the aircraft, not just what people have told you or youve read, youll never go back to a King Air. MU-2 is the only airplane that is unquestionably built just as well, most likely better than a King Air
Sorry...this statement is a little overshadowed by statistics and pilot opinions. Beechcraft turboprops like the King Air 200, 350 are way out of the MU-2's leagues.
no actuallly. Ive never flown a Mits. I DO however know the real story behind the aircraft, not what some people want you to believe. And if you can explain to me how the B200 is a better aircraft than the MU-2....well...you wont be able to. trust me. Go ahead. Give me a few reasons. Ill start by telling you that the Mits is factory supported, has ZERO airframe Airworthiness Directives (only FAA certified aircraft to do this) cruises at over 305kts, and has more cabin and baggage space than a B2
Nice bird, takes getting used to flying it by yourself, sitting on the toilet with the autopilot on over a thunderstorm, you will learn to trust this sweet little aircraft. After a few weeks you can read a book without walking back to the cockpit and checking everything:). Always keep your remote headset on just in case you get a vector change from your nearest ATC:).
That's true for power but personally I hate the winglets on the 350 and the 1900! Don't know what it is but I just prefer a smooth wing out the cockpit. Just my opinion!
C model is without winglets. I prefer the look of the C, but the avionics on the D and the -67's are much better. Not to mention a stand-up cabin and lav are nice to have.
I have that video, it´s from Flight Video Productions, it´s pretty cool! I have this from KA 350, PC 12, Meridian and the last of the Columbia 400. I recommend those videos as they have great quality (specially the C400 HD) and show great things (pre flight, startup, and so on). Best regards.

I perfer the 200 you still true out at about 255, but you can land it on 3000' gravel strips which is very useful in charter work.

Old technology. Small cabin for a twin turbo. Noisy. Slow.

@capceo yes true but they make exceptional drug running planes. They can take off and land in hard to reach places that's why they are so good.

Not that I'm aware. Only private charters.

A local airline here operated/operates one or two 200s.

Yep. Maybe some local airlines. But not a big name airliner like Delta, Us airways, etc.
