I think it better RE4 Original but the way for this game similar Fatal Frame and other ghost games it does not look like monster game Shinji mikami no need RE4 like this but if they take this game to new game change character but still keep the ambient of scene like this I think It will good

we seen five minutes of gameplay and drool over it!

Imagine how many more enemies, crows - paintings - pictures, etc.

The backround of this game you would actually have to pay attention/be afraid of.

Plus weapons, gameplay, etc.

This should be released and just make it non cannon with the real re story - I would pay everything I have to play this.

Eh it looks cool and scary, but too much like silent hill with the item collections and the flashlight usage. With the deer head falling in 0:25, as well as the attacking dolls in 1:38.

The "ghoul" like thing at 3:19 was something from "fatal frame" and FUCK I hate that game, still refuse to play it. Only time it seems to be vulnerable to damage is when a flash grenade is thrown, then he's a zombie.

Game looks scary and fun, but think they tried to pack too much into it from 3 different games.

the game wouldve SOLD more like this? nahhhhhhhhhh. RE4 was for a broader audience. this would b ONLY for fans. i hear it alot. 'bad camera' , 'clunky controls' , 'limited inventory', list goes on. ALOT of ppl hate the old mechanics RE. im not one of them but b realistic there's NO WAY that this wouldve sold more if they kept this. re6 might b interesting but it wont b an instant hit like 4 and 5. i like 2and3 as well as 4 but thats jus my opinion

i gotta admit id rather have played this than re4 and 5! capcom seems to have gone more survival than horror! 4 and 5 were not even a tingle on the fear scale, they say re6 is going to revamp the seris and that the zombies will be back, one of the developers mentioned london may be a possible location but wasnt specific, they better do something soon cus the previous 2 games didnt feel like a resi game! they were good, but not quite resident evil...

It's too bad this would of been such a great game and would f been the scariest one probably. The one we got now is good but this beats it by a lot, I mean come on everything is infected statues, dolls, a shadow with a hook. What more could you ask for.

Yeah, this is the real Survival Horror, the only thing I dislike is "phantoms", they should be real zombies appearing suddently and trying to kill you, etc. BTW I like that "shadow/light" effects.

They thought it was "too supernatural" so they scrapped the Resident Evil idea and just made it into a Devil May Cry. :(

Its a joke. Capcom was 80% finished with RE4 before they scrapped the entire game and remade it into the action RE4 that we have today. The same thing happened with RE2. The collecter's edition of RE4 in japan actually came with the original version of this game.
