Go look into it yourself, it has been reported by the NY Times that there is no clear definition of abortion NOT being funded in this Bill.

You are the one who is being childish, where is the wording in the Bill that says Abortion will NOT be covered? Hmm, that is due to it not being there!

That is the point, Pelosi is very pro-abortion and has blocked any attempt to exempt abortion in this Bill, ergo, Planned Parenthood really likes this Bill.

Exactly "For abortions allowed BASED ON THE LAW"" The law as it stands is the Hyde Park Amendment of 1976. In other words this bill is abortion neutral. It does not change ths situation thas has been in effect since 1976. Republican politicians, who want to kill the bill for their own political purposes, are exploiting the pro-life movement. If they can get an anti-abortion amendment -the bill would be unacceptable to liberal Dem.s, & that would kill Americas chances of HC reform.

The bill has a host of essential reforms Here's a few examples you won't hear on Fox News or from any Republican politician: Page 122. sect. 233(a) 3. to make insurance plans more easily understood using standard plain language.

Sect. 144, an ombudsman to finally assist those who have been screwed by their insur. co.

sect. 152, preventing unfair discrimination in providing health care coverage.sect. 153. whistle blower protection

sect 162. Ending health insurance rescission abuse.

Out of more than 300 million people 93 read this utube thread. it's a waste of time, though it can be an entertaining one. You were convinced that the bill somehow required abortion funding more than was already available in the insurance market. I actually thought maybe I had reached one person with the message that you have to go to the actual legislation & not just listen to the spin of any politician on either side. I'm sad that I failed in even that small contribution.

The Bill now does not have Abortion funding, it was ambiguous, quite a few Democrats were saying they were not going to vote for the Bill due to this. Ergo, they did the Stupak Amendment, have fun being a pawn.

The bill they are voting on today HR 6932, on pages 147 & 8, 182, 246 and 1359, state very clearly how abortion is treated in this bill. No funding, no change to existing Federal Laws.
