I love to play this song on the piano it just flows nicely and "feels" good. Although I am not from this time this is what I love to play and it is what I play professionally. Thanks for sharing!
It is fun listening to these beautiful songs. My parents played this kind of music when I was growing up. My dad played most of the old songs. You can't replace this wonderful sound with a few guitars. I wonder if the guitars will be around as long as these old songs!!! Thank you for posting this song.
Thank you for posting. I heard this on late night Southwest (Cornwall) about 10 years ago, and didn't know who sang it. I just really, really love this song. Again. THANK YOU I just screamed when my search finally came up with this..
I used to have this on a Brunswick 78 and used to play it over and over again It brings back such fond memories thanks for posting this piece of my childhood superamos31
Seen the Jack Morgan Orchestra hundreds of time. The first time at the top of the Dunes and later at the Plaza Hotel in Vegas. Have had the band to my family's house dozens of times.
My all time favorite from about 1949 or so. Just seems like yesterday. Beautiful sincere lyrics and music. Too bad they just can't seem to get it right these days. Thanks for the nice video.
cant believe ive actually found this song it was my nana n grandas song he told me recently he bought the LP when it first came out n carried it around with him 4 3yrs because not many people had record players back then. Then one day he went 2 my nana's mam's with the record n put it down on the chair n as u can guess me nana's mam sat on it n broke it!!! He said ........i wouldnt care but it was a chair she neva sat in haha
My all time favorite also. Great, great dance band. I was saddened by his passing in 1969. Tks

I've just read a love letter from my Mum to my Dad sent while he was on National Service in 1950. In the letter Mum mentions this as "their song".
It was great to be able to hear it.
