  • Wow, that is a great spiritual lesson. I never thought about how you could run across attitudes in Africa like was was displayed in the first children. That would be have been dissapointing to me, but you pulled some great spiritual insight out if it and shared it with the rest of us! We need to be the one who loves God for who He is and not for what he can give us. Awesome.

  • The first boy's name is Edwardo!!!! Trust me I know this little boy really well!!!!!!!! He is a good kid but he will manipulate you!!!! That is how they have learned how to survive!!!! I think edwardo is like 16 yrs. old. I was in Pemba in 2007 the first time and the then again in 2009.

    i have beemn going to pemba for holidays fo rthe past 2 years. n u used to pass arco iris centre, sumtimes i could c the people takin those poor children to the beach and after dat they could given them lunch,

    dat was very sweet of them

    1 day wen i finish uni i will go bk to mozambique to help those orphan

    I too just came back from serving at that base. I too came across the same situations.Although, i feel we must look at all 3 characters as equals because Jesus would love and embrace them all, not just spend time with the one seemingly easy to love. Thanks though for sharing this.

  • Fantastic video! Last summer i went to Zimpeto iris center in Mozambique. I had also a good time and i learnt more about God. I really miss the kids, maybe next time i go to Pemba...:)
