@bloodshed1791 I just finished my first play through of it a few weeks ago. If you loved Banjo Kazooie than it's pretty much everything you loved about that game and a great deal more. Bigger levels, more abilities, new transformations, sharper visuals, catchy music, a harder difficulty and for some reason a much darker story. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be very unclear as to what you're meant to do in order to get certain jiggies.

Also, we never got to see Stop n Swop truly in practice. The prizes on the 360 version were things like wallpapers and stickers for Nuts n Bolts, which of course wouldn't have appeared on N64. It's not 13 years since this game was released, and we still don't know what the rewards would have been.
@MMusashi420 Absolutely. Nothing uses this kind of formula anymore. It wasn't just 'get this many items, go to the next level'. It was more an entanglement with going back and getting things. This and Banjo-Tooie were almost perfect. I think they were better than Super Mario 64. I remember Nintendo Official Magazine gave in, and rated this higher than SM64. That takes some doing! I would buy a 360 just for a third BK (let's pretend Nuts n Bolts doesn't exist!).
I couldn't tell ya how many times I would jump on top of those rocks to shoot eggs at Grunty (hit Z and the yellow arrow) and accidentally ZOOM IN. So many cheap shots she took at me back then haha
That's the worst way to die. Falling off of a giant tower, making an indent in the ground, and getting crushed by a rock. That's kind of gruesome for a kid's game.
@LoticaStudios actually Gruntilda does not die. After the rock crashes unto her, you'll see the rock shaking when she is pounding against it and tries to push it off. Then she calls her helper Klungo for help. Too sad it's not in the video.

Did you know that the Final Spell That Grunty shot at 7:36-7:40 atually Dint miss and Hit Banjo make him a Frog and you have to pay as tooty to bring banjos to mumbo to bring he to normality but Rare Quit that part. and sorry, im Speak Sapnish Not English XD and this games Was suposes to be Project Dream where the protagonist was a human that usea a Sword, and grunty a giant(not a wich) and tootys Whas Banjos GilrFriend and the Angonist was Captain Blackeye

I don't get it. From Spiral Mountain the Tower is small, round, and has a dark blue sky around it. On the top, it's shaped like an X, has red/black/yellow skies w/lightning. Not to mention that it's friggen huge. Even while Gruntilda is falling it changes back to normal.
Oh man, I wish this game was like Zelda, where nothing happened after you kill the last boss, and you could just go back up there and fight. (Not to mention play the board game again)
ahhh i remember orignally playing this with my brother when we were kids it took both of us to do all the puzzles and figure out everything this is back when games to skill and not point and shoot..and for all of you kids this is before ign so no guides to 100% the game, the boss isnt hard you just have to know what to do and find out YOURSELF

My Original Banjo Kazooie file took me 48 hours, I didn't even beat it till after Banjo-Tooie came out. This fight took me at least 20 tries. Mind you I was 9 or 10. Now I can do it in 5 hours

Obviously you beat it, you cheated. You got hit more times than allowable, and use the unlimited honeycomb cheat. eff off. do it like the rest of the world and beat it on 4 honeycombs. That's talent.
@gingersgross a) this isn't the unlimited honeycomb cheat, else my health bar would still be yellow and it wouldn't reduce after each hit. It's a reward you get for collecting 98 of the 100 jiggies in the game.
b) I've already beaten it without the double lifebar. Maybe check the upload date next time - I uploaded this at a time when I wasn't as well practiced at the game as I am now, at a time when there wasn't any decent footage of the final battle on youtube.

U start with 5 honeycombs dumbass also u need to get almost every jiggy for the extra health and in the begging there is really easy honeycombs to find so you would have six so get your facts straight the only cheats are the pages with double eggs red feathers and gold feathers but if you put a cheat, it won't let you save so it's pretty much useless if you use those cheats also it's not talent to beat it at low honeycombs -.- just don't get hit
@seanyyysy best (proven) single segment time is 2.40.05 by Daniel Gibb; you can find the video of his run on speeddemosarchive. Any times on the XBLA version only involve collecting all 900 notes and 100 jiggies, not beating Furnace Fun or Gruntilda.

Your in an electronics store, buying the game your game could be like. Whats in your pocket? Its $60 for the game you thought you would love! Look again, the game is now shit. Anything is possible when you don't cut out parts of the game and not remove them. Im on a laptop.

bloody hell i really miss the rareware games/developers of 94-2002!! really was a stupendous videogame developer.
i wish the n64 emulator on my wii would be updated so i can play all my games without having to set up the individual consoles! there all choppy at the mo or missing textures,backgrounds or characters.

i can never beat this boss i dont have the double life gauge cause i really dont want to do more work than nessicary i can never beat the 2 phase of this boss boy is it hard plus i keep falling off the battle arena wich is is instead death so fusrtrating but u make it look easy

@Kowbrainz is this the N64 version or an emulator? It doesn't look like Xbox Live. And honestly, having an Xbox and this game, the Xbox game is too different and not as satisfying.

Obviously you beat it, you cheated. You got hit more times than allowable, and use the unlimited honeycomb cheat. eff off. do it like the rest of the world and beat it on 4 honeycombs. That's talent.

@gingersgross a) this isn't the unlimited honeycomb cheat, else my health bar would still be yellow and it wouldn't reduce after each hit. It's a reward you get for collecting 98 of the 100 jiggies in the game.
b) I've already beaten it without the double lifebar. Maybe check the upload date next time - I uploaded this at a time when I wasn't as well practiced at the game as I am now, at a time when there wasn't any decent footage of the final battle on youtube.

U start with 5 honeycombs dumbass also u need to get almost every jiggy for the extra health and in the begging there is really easy honeycombs to find so you would have six so get your facts straight the only cheats are the pages with double eggs red feathers and gold feathers but if you put a cheat, it won't let you save so it's pretty much useless if you use those cheats also it's not talent to beat it at low honeycombs -.- just don't get hit

@seanyyysy best (proven) single segment time is 2.40.05 by Daniel Gibb; you can find the video of his run on speeddemosarchive. Any times on the XBLA version only involve collecting all 900 notes and 100 jiggies, not beating Furnace Fun or Gruntilda.

something that this game has that few others have today.
whenever she fires the fireballs at you she aims where your going not where your at making it much more challenging. Nowadays it's just keep on moving and your fine which is very boring. Probably involves a lot more programming rares way but every quality game takes effort.

I remember when I defeated her.It took me to be age 10 to defeat her,I played this game in age 7.I started playing other games including banjo tootie,later when I was 10 I defeated the witch.I didn't eve knew youtube existed till I was 11.xD But I was the only grade who know youtube but later they know what youtube is.
