Question, Y U NO USE UNLIMITED DEVIL MODE DANTE COSTUME? I mean, your fighting DMD mission 20 Vergil.. If you beat Very Hard Mode you get a Dante Skin that gives you unlimited Devil Form so why not use it?

That Damned Vergil:@.He always kicks my ass.I have to use items to get past him.I get SS in Hard and other modes and Very Hard too.But in DMD Mode he always turns into Devil and always regenaretes health and you can't even hit him because he always uses that stupid Helm Breaker and Judgement Cut but he dissapears and uses more balls to break your balls:xD.He is hard to fight but if you can use RoyalGuard well he is easy.

@FlameGyu ...goodluck using Royalguard on Vergil on DMD; Royal guard is actually the worst style to use for DMD Vergil as you can't Precision Block the Spiral Swords, you know.

@zekiramasterdragon Yeah the problem with RoyalGuard is that it is hard to use it.You must try to block Vergil exactly when he tries to hit you in order to block his move and some moves can't be blocked like Judgement Cut or they are very hard to block like Stinger.You need Trickster to avoid hits.Trickster and RoyalGuard are both useful so you just have to choose the style you know how to use more:xD.

@FlameGyu Don't get me wrong though; Royalguard is actually my main style to use for the entire game... just not on DMD Vergil, lol. Of course, I didn't go Royalguard all the way to SS all the DMD missions; some missions are really almost impossible to SS without specific styles :/

i think this is the game with the most epic final battle.... twins that are pretty much the same...fighting for their aim.. one good one bad...brother vs brother....just epic!... i cant imagine a better final battle...never seen one so far... and the river that flows between demon and human world... so they are fighting on the edge of both worlds... perfection!... i always listen to mario galaxy 2 final boss theme when i watch this vid... it fits pefectly for this battle i think ;)

ZOMFG I'm just not cheap enough to do that jump canceling crap and due to that, I'm stuck on DMD mode because Vergil just keeps spamming his super DT, so he ends up regenerating more health than I can do damage to him LOL

But that's one damn good job to get an SS rank there.

You don't need to jump cancel in order to finish MIssion 20 on DMD; I just used excessive Jump Cancelling because I wanted to finish this really quick.

I know, but it seems that it's impossible otherwise. You'd know what I mean if I were to show you one of my fights with him. Just yesterday, I tried beating him and after half an hour in a single battle, I gave up. I just tried it again today and It didn't work either. I just can't seem to get him below ~30% of his health.

LOL, it's true; some bosses really merit the best weapons for them; it just so happened that Vergil is freaking hard without Beowulf. Trust me, the first time I fought Mission 20 on DMD, I finished it using Rebellion-Cerberus-E&I-Spiral. It was not a pretty sight, but at least I did it.

Well, I just used Rebellion + E&I the first two times I tried it and I never lost, but I gave up after about half an hour each time. I just couldn't deal enough damage.

You'll retract your statement soon when you get to Dante Must Die. 20 bars and 99 Yellow Orbs / 3 Gold Orbs and 20 Vital Star Ls won't be enough to save you especially on Missions 18 and 19 if you play like you did on Very Hard. You'll have to take it a lot of notches higher in skill.

Nice I can only get an S and an SS if I'm having a good day, DMC 4 was so easy, the last bosses, no, every boss took like 1 minute to beat it's no challenge at all even on DMD mode, but DMC3 bosses are actually fun to fight.

Second, I have played the game for around 200 hours. And getting 999999 orbs only takes me around 9 hours to get by repeating missions with S ranks always -- I got full upgrades as soon as I finished Mission 10 of Normal. Then, I found all Blue Orb Fragments and bought all Blue Orbs and Purple Orbs, then maximizing my life and magic bar, or as you call it 'devil trigger'.

The next time I hear the word 'cheat', I'll be angry.

Fastest way I know is to keep on repeating Mission 20 on Easy/Normal and keep getting an S/SS rank on it. Each win should net you 14500 orbs.
