  • Fairly quick, you just need to build momentum and go with a flow, then you'll be able to tune it in a couple of minutes.

    It takes slightly longer then a guitar but still faster then a piano :D

  • The late Derek Bell of the Chieftains from Béal Feirste used to play a bit of hammered dulcimer... if it helps!

  • Danny Carnahan and Robin Petrie, "Continental Drift", also "Two for the Road". Both are very hard to find, and probably not on CD; but very worth it.
