ive heard that cutting your cuticles is bad because you get bacteria. is that true?

I've never heard that, and I know they do it at salons so it can't be that bad!!

where did you you get your cuticle pusher and cuticle oil from?

I got my cuticle pusher from a manicure set but you can find them in any drugstore in the nails section. My cuticle oil is from O.P.I. and came free with my Nail Envy :)

lemon flutter from Lush is also a great product for your cuticles = ) don't know if it's better than cuticle oil but perhaps you can give it a try

Have you ever tried a glass/crystal nail file? They are much better for your nails than the sandpapery ones.

Which is why I said you shouldn't do it :) But you know, a nail place I went to did it and so I had to carry on... this is just what I do personally. Don't take it as "everyone should do this"
