@jdang That is easy, simply adjust the "Time" parameter in any animation (increase it) no more than 500 and the animation will take more time hence, will be more slow and fluid.

@kevinoh98 go to compiz-config settings manager (or ccsm) and go to the end of it (down) select " move windows" and there you click on "move windows" trasparency and there you set it at will.

@6Diego1Diego9 8Gb DDR2 and GTX295 dualGPU, don't be fooled about RAM, it was pretty much all available, ubuntu used up only 800mb of it.
