you probably attached the phone via usb before you installed the software and drivers. Unplug it and uninstall via the control panel. Then restart your computer and reattempt the installation without attaching your usb cable until you have installed the software from the blackberry manager (blackberry website)

1. Go to Audio Options -> Scroll and click on "Advanced..."

2. You have 6 options: Loud, Vibrate, Quiet, Normal, Phone Only, and Off.

3. Click the menu button, select "edit".

4. Scroll to find "SMS Text" and click on it.

5. The rest is self explanatory.

One thing you wanna keep in mind is: You have to edit EACH mode (Vibrate, Loud...etc.) If you edit your SMS tune while "vibrate" was highlighted, it will only play your selected tune when in vibrate mode. If you Select normal, it will play its default tune. So, you have to edit each mode separately.

Free up space, you will be surprised by how much free space you really have, try deleting some old pics or videos, maybe some ringtones or old games.
