No way would I climb the incline! The steps at seven falls were hard enough-ten years ago. Gotta love Colorado Springs! I am very lucky to live here (since 1991).
If you are hiking on the old Incline (rather than the adjacent Barr Trail) you are trespassing on three different properties along the way, but apparently the owners of the Cog Railway, the City of Colorado Springs, nor the Forest Service seem to mind, and what a hike! Thanks for the great video.
@swedishmax Dude I know that isnt right. Pikes Peak is 14,000ft tall. From the top of the incline to top of Pikes Peak is close to 9,000ft. Your numbers are off

That is an excellent view from the top - even the middle is a nice view when you look down and see where you started.

i believe for a while they were ticketing people going up there, but soooo many were trespassing that they just finally gave up...

Nice view, I live here and I have been up there three times (once including to the top of Eagles Nest lookout) and it is quite the view.

Gotta be in shape for that hike, huh.

somewhat...mostly acclimated to the altitude and dry air. its a zig zag trail most of the way...but the altitude rises from 6000ft to about 10000ft
