Landing at Athens Airport

i flew out of athens on busy its was not every busy at all

i've noticed it many times..BA tends to use 767s for the flight to athens..why that? is it because the flights are full, so they need bigger planes to cover the needs?

@mlks191 I've flown the BA route from LHR to Athens many times and there was never a flight where the load factor wasn't 100%, its an extremely busy route with the airline. BA operates 5 daily flights from Heathrohw to Athens, the two earliest operated by A320's and the next 3 by 767's.

@mlks191 seems a bit surprising, I know. There are additional flights between the two cities with both Olympic Air and Aegean operating daily flights from Heathrow as well. Athens is a lot busier than it seems however, many major airlines/flag carriers from every continent fly into Athens. Athens does not have much connecting traffic however, its all point to point, which is why it appears to be less congested than it really is.
