  • Ive been researchin threaded barrels for my xd sumcompact so i can fit a supressor to it but i cant find any. maybe you know were i can start to look?

  • 0Dancingwanderer1 Maybe you should try wikipedia first. That way, you get an idea of what you're dealing with when it comes to .45 cal ammo. Not making a joke or smar tassing you.

  • dos any one know where to get sub sonnic .45 rounds

  • What did that target ever do to you?

  • Quiet is good for sneaky..... Loud is good for "Get the Hell out!!!!" A subsonic 9mm round kind of defeats the purpose of a 9mm, might as well shoot a .380 silenced, same muzzle velocity and bullet weight, no need for special reloaded ammo. Just look up "Walther PPK" 007 used it... suppressed fire is only there for contract killers and the people who hunt them. CQB only, when attention is not wanted. Use subsonic ammo with a suppressor and it wont wake the neighbors.

  • what brand is that suppressor?

  • 30 round mag loaded halfway

  • Nice, just need some sub rounds!

  • Subsonic ammo next :)

  • >mfw subsonic, subsonic everywhere

    >mfw 99% of you babies have never held a gun

  • Wow do people no nothing? Its prolly just standard ammo, not sub-sonic.

  • That's definitely quieter than normal.

  • asshat lol love it

  • Does it block the sights?

  • Only problem I have, is that's not a 30 round mag, it's the factory 16 round.

  • did it jam the slide didnt lock back?

  • coo coo...they were not using sub sonic though to loud even for indoors. Suppressors are awesome but they are a pain in the ass to clean up after shooting all damn day. Anyone who owns a supressor know what I am talking about.

  • Attention 14 year old arm chair video game commandos who are lucky if they've ever shot a Daisy:

Unless you fire subsonic ammo in a pistol it will still make a snapping noise as the bullet leaves the suppressor faster than the speed of sound. Some gas and sound will always come out of the muzzle of the suppressor. Indoor ranges are LOUD. Not only is the sound contained indoors but they are essentially an echo chamber because of the materials they are made out of, such as reinforced concrete

  • louder than i expected but still cool.

  • @DJSexLeopard ahhahahaha how did i know it would be so easy to stir up some bullshit with a troll

  • @DJSexLeopard id just pull out the springfield, bet you wouldnt fight then

  • @DJSexLeopard lol you just proved my point....idiot....

  • @DJSexLeopard your a fucking idiot...

  • @xGBxLEGENDARY I love it when people on youtube say "your" an idiot to other people. It is lamentable that people who can't even master the grammar of their own native language are running around accusing others of being cognitively deficient.

  • Did you need to buy a different barrel for your XD? I have an XD9 but I don't think mine can take a suppressor. I want one!

  • Hahaha yes defo hit a soft spot on u I love it!!!!!!! Haha u an ur poxy little pistol r shit!

I've told u mate if ur gona do it buy a mac or an Uzi ur gun is scrap! 

  • @christianjones111 Uzis and Mac's are gay unless they're fully automatic and I don't think you can really get a class 3

  • @brutalback Don't need a Class 3 to own one, you just have to pay out the ass for one ($3-5k), wait 6 months, get permission from the local law enforcement agency, & pay a $200 tax stamp to own one made before May of 1986. If you're not loaded with money and want a fully-automatic firearm legally, the M10/M11's are actually a good buy. Better than, for example, the beat-up M16's from Vietnam that run about $15,000.

  • How much was that cuz I wud take it back!! Ur better off trying 2 sniper with an Uzi or mac, not a clue m8

  • @christianjones111 Hey, why don't you put down the fucking controller for once, and make a comment with a semblance of intelligence?

  • if you actually listen and take your dick out of your ear you will realize that the loud bang that you are hearing is from the bullet hitting the back stop. There is a very distinct separation between the sound of the gun, and the sound of the impact.

Also, 9mm is one of the rounds that if you use sub-sonic, you can just about completely silence the gun. Anything larger than 9mm has the problem of having too large of an exit hole and you still get a fairly large amount of gas released.

  • @rainmanind Not to mention that a slide lock mechanism would increase the suppressing effect, at the cost of rapid-fire capability.

I just love how everyone assumes that Hollywood silencers are the real deal...

  • @rainmanind : I think that the only 'fairly large amount of gas released" is in your first paragraph. Those are firing noises, without a doubt. That's not saying that the 'silencer' is not mitigating the gun fire report, and it would be louder without it. But come on....

  • People learn too much about weapons from movies... hence why all the rAtards on here think that because he has this "magical" supperz coolz silencer on the end its suppossed to not make any noise.. If you have ever shot a weapons system with a suppressor on it, you would know that unless you are using subsonic ammo, its still going to make a noise. end rant.

  • are you people stupid? the sound is obviously gonna echo because he's in an indoor gun range, it would be alot different if he was outdoors...

  • Sound suppressor still make noise. just not alarmingly loud. even with subsonic.

  • @hvuu can you email i have something to ask you about this ..macadon04@yahoo.com

  • suppressor.what suppressor.that was loud as @#$%

  • IM having problems with my magazines also, very rarely do mine lock back anymore after last round. did you ever get yours fixed?

  • haha is this the range in Belmont NC?

  • everyone shut the fuck up!!! it was cool to see

  • ive shot my friends "kimber " 1300 dollars and it jammed no less than 15 times. he takes care of his stuff so i know its not that. my gun" xd 9mm 400 and change" ive had it for 6 months ,i go to the range evert weekend and its seem more than 2000 rounds in it.. no one little hiccup nothing..! im not trying to sell these guns but im just saying that im happy that i bought it. i still want a glock, hell i want one of everything..lol but when i go for a gun in my house.

  • @mjmoto72 you should tell your friend to change his ammo or mag. Kimber makes a good shooter. My .45 had the same problem with high capacity mags. They seated too high. But at the same time, I haven't had any trouble with my xdm 9mm.

  • Its an indoor range you dumbasses... its going to be louder than normal.. also, hes probably not using subsonic ammo. Kids are morons, get off call of duty and wait until you are old enough to own a real gun, lest you look like an asshat.

  • @AdoreYouInAshXI I agree little kids that have never probably even seen a real gun shouldn't even comment on these videos

  • 16 round mag*

  • The dude looks like Steve Stamkos of the Tampa Bay lightning

  • hells ya Impact guns in ogden Wot Wot

  • @giggleshooter is that at impact guns, now thats one great company.., great selection

  • thats a nice range...

  • Is it me or is he shooting at a picture of Jesus? :D

  • @sk0llskilz It's OSAMA.

  • @sk0llskilz Its bin laden lol

  • that was cool and louder than i thought it would be. i have xdm it is a nice gun. nice video though

  • post a vid with sub sonic ammo so all the newbs in here can shut the hell up.. Damn kids think COD is how guns really sound.. Morons!!! Nice weapon..

  • TTblackOps disregard any thing he says. He doesn't have very much if any practical use with a pistol. I have several auto loaders that don't even have slide locks.

  • they are indoors... did any of you even think that the crack you are hearing is the impact of the bullet hitting the backstop... also the reason the slide did not lock back is because of the subsonic ammo. The combination of the reduced powder charge and the extra drag of the suppressor pulling the barrel against the frame often cause guns that were not designed for suppressors to fail to lock back.

  • Your waaay to eager to put your finger on the trigger man...

  • That was not a 30rd mag. It looked like an 18rd Mecgar

  • FAIL.

You have to use subsonic ammo if you really want to suppress.

  • thats at impct guns in ogden huh

  • yeah fuck osama up

  • Wait a minute,...you mean the movies lied to me?! Silencers aren't,..."SILENT"?!

Well,...I guess if you make the silencer bigger, or use .22:)

  • Why didn't the slide lock back at the end of the mag?

  • @LouieIn720p The slide on every handgun locks back so you can do mag changes and just release the slide or pull the trigger to fire your next round. How do you not know that the slide locks back when they mag is empty?

  • @TTBlackOPS dood ur a fucking idiot, learn to read cause he asked y i didnt lock back

  • @santaslayer21 it is dude not dood moron! hahahahaha who is the real idiot.

  • @TTBlackOPS clearly it is still u because u can spell dood either way, yet you can only read what he wrote one way...

  • @TTBlackOPS An empty magazine forces the slide to lock back. The slide didn't lock back once he fired all his rounds. And are you saying that you release the slide by pulling the trigger?

  • I have a XDM .40 I recently won. I bought a viridoan green dot for it and now I want a supressor/silencer for it. Is there I can buy a new barrel that's allows me to put one on? Btw it's a 4.5 inch barrel.

  • @cheesyshoes there is a website called efkfiredragon that sells them. i have a few ported barrels from them and they work great. in fact, it looks like he is using one.

they do sometimes take a tiny bit of smithing to fit tho.

  • You really have to use subsonic ammo

  • that was quiet.

  • nice job firing as sloppy and quickly as possible. next time slow it down a bit so you can really focus on each shot and make them count.

  • Not exactly a practical use of the weapon, but I guess if your trying to play James Bond, it works lol

  • I think my unsupressed .45 is quieter. :P But neat pistol. :)

  • 9mm sucks my friend shot a guy 15 times and he still ran away after trying to rob his car

  • @FuriousPixel

Maybe your friends shooting just sucks. & even if he actualy tagged the guy with every round he sucks for not being able to aim for vital spots like head, heart, lungs, liver, spine, ect.

Either you or your friend are lieing.

Oh & tell ur budy not to use walmart white box ammo (its FMJ), try some hollow points.

  • @FuriousPixel your friend blind? lol jk

  • I love it when people "loosen up" before shooting. Very amature

  • @Bullittstable: I love it when people "can't spell" when attempting to insult someone. Also very amateur.

  • @kingniggajew

Spelling has nothin to do with the insult. Who cares if someone can or cant spell a word correctly on frikin youtube. Its not ur 8th grade english class buddy

  • @Bullittstable I love it when someone nitpicks someone else's shooting style and calls it amateur while somehow trying to prove to everyone on youtube how much more awesome they are at shooting.

Everyone has their own style, props on making yourself look like a tool.

  • @Bullittstable

    shutup u runt

  • NICE NOT A 30RND MAG THOUGH

  • does anyone know if the xd 45acp can be modified for silencer?

  • most people confuse a silencer with a suppressor do some research, its not about if you can hear it while you shoot its about who can hear from a distance

  • Anyone who is calling it "fake", did you ever think that maybe he wasn't using subsonic ammo?

  • @zchris87v even if it was subsonic ammo it would still be loud because of the explosion from the powder. these kids are fuckin retarted and play to many games, a suppressor does not make your gun queef its still a crack like noise.

  • @ibanezkid07 The suppressor is designed to eliminate the "blast" from the gunpowder with the baffles, that's the only thing it actually does. The "crack" is supersonic ammunition, and the "click" is the action of the gun. It still makes a slight pop, but sounds more like a BB gun with an effective silencer/subsonic ammunition.

  • @ibanezkid07 Check out my XD9 Video if you want to learn something.

  • @ibanezkid07 XD 9 Service w/ Trident 9

  • @zchris87v thats just it though, the people who say that probably get their info from call of duty. Therefore they are unaware of the whole subsonic, supersonic thing.

  • @zchris87v lol son mentales

  • @zchris87v

Yeah its still louder than usual, camera didn't pick up all the sound.

  • Its a fake.. thanks tard.

  • Silencers are designed to disguise the sound of the gun, subsonic rounds make a gun quiter.

    dont listen to holywood movies

  • theres no such thing as a silencer, its a suppressor. Suppressors only reduce the noise by a little bit, they are still pretty loud. This "silencer" was obviously fake.

  • fake!!! mock!!! your a tool ! i have both the xd and th xdm i no the sound of that gun like the back of my hand for real why dont you put XD with fake ass mock extended barrel insted so again A. your a tool B. your a big tool C. your a huge tool and beyond

    have a nice day

  • I got the same gun but a .40 where can you get that suppressor???

  • @Jucemanne If you have to come to a YouTube video asking where to buy a suppressor, then you shouldn't be buying one.

  • sabbath465...A. you're the tool B. you're the tool, and C. you're still the tool........Thanks Jagermeisteryeti for posting the vid Silencer or Suppressor who cares everyone knows what he's talking about

  • "Suppressor" is incorrect.

First of all, there are both flash suppressors and sound suppressors, so just saying "suppressor" is ambiguous and makes you sound like a tool.

Secondly, there is nothing wrong with calling it a "silencer". That's what Hiram Maxim called it, and he invented the damn thing.

  • shut-up...Its a silencer.

  • @Formulastreet no actually silencers are from video games. does that 9mm sound silent. no it doesn't. it suppresses the sound. most professionals call it a suppressor.

  • @tubedude1438 I believe there are different loads you can shoot that are designed to be quieter with a silencer or suppressor whatever you wanna fuckin call it. Just what I have heard, no evidence though.

  • @sabbath465 While the term "silencer" is used quite a bit and generally excepted, it's not accurate. "Suppressor" or "muffler" is more of an accurate description. Also, keep in mind that the reason Maxim called it a "silencer" was for marketing purposes. Silence sells better than suppression.

  • a 6.50 rifle with silencer makes noise but not like in games where you hardly hear yourself

  • your both wrong hes wearing hearing protection because its still loud enough to cause damage. there's only one or maybe two suppressors in the world that are hearing safe. one is made be AAC its called the black box. and you don't know 9mm cuz its called a suppressor not a silencer which means it still makes a good amount noise especially if your not using subsonic ammo. suppressors are mostly for muzzle flash and concealing positions for further distances more than close ones. do your home work

  • AMEN!!! Im glad someone on here knows their weapons. I am sick of all the "kiddos" that say stupid shit, just because they seen it in a movie without looking at the facts. You said it well Dan.

  • no problem man i don't even own or even had the privilege to shoot with one. but i do my research and like to be knowledgeable of what i speak of unlike alot of these as you said "kiddos" lol. have a good one man.

  • pillows work..... ;P

  • Hey mate..what shooting range were you at?Cheers

  • thats a mock silencer. and anyone who knows a 9mm agrees with me.

  • I am thinking about getting one for my XD 9 too but the Db reduction with the load being used in video would make anyone re-think that one. Aguila makes some darn fine SS loads that are highly recommended especially when you can find them in the bigger calibers. Anyone know of any videos with Subsonic loads (SS) used here on youtube with similar set-up?

  • Three words...Sub-sonic Ammo, or is it two? its not the powder burn that makes the noise, its the crack of the bullet leaving the barrel.

  • Still kinda loud, I take it there are better silencers on the market or is the movie silencer just a myth?

  • I am sure there are better suppressors on the market but yes you are correct that the movie "silencer" where it just makes a high pitched whistle is a myth. Suppressors do work better on sub sonic ammo though. I have heard a 22 with sub sonic ammo that wasn't any louder than a bb gun I used when I was a kid.

  • also because it is a an indoor range the sound bounces around the walls and reciprocates the sound much more than if he was out side

  • Additionally, there will be quite a bit of noise from the bullet hitting the backstop.

  • you can get them if u pay a huge ass permit.

  • silencers are not illegal everywhere you can get them with a class III license in a lot of states plus if its less noise the less attention you will bring say if your shooting in the woods or something like that, but i live in new york so no civi can own one

  • were you using sub-sonic ammo? if you were then that sucks.

  • i dont believe he was

  • dry?

what light you using? SF or INsight

  • TLR-1?

  • Silent as a church mouse.

  • Silent as a church mouse being hit on the head by a sledgehammer!

  • @CHOPERUS23 LOL

  • Not a 30 rounder.

  • Ive got an XDm and this silenced XD is very quiet with almost no muzzle flash...very nice

  • Xd's are a great new breed.

  • true but been around for like 10 years or and about 7 years of that in the states actually lol.. but a great gun

  • It only seems loud compared to other videos because the mikes on most cameras cut off after a certain number of decibels. Gunshots are way louder than voices, but they always sound about the same on video. The same thing is happening here.

  • Nice lol

  • Could be due to indoor range but still seems rather loud

  • yea, any gun firing supersonic ammunition will still be loud even with a suppressor, just less so. If he were firing some special subsonic ammo it would be super quiet. But often times those kind of rounds have trouble cycling in a semi-auto weapon that wasn't necessarily designed for them.

  • I was thinking the same thing. Why bother, if it's still that noisy?

  • Is that a Bar-Sto threaded barrel?

  • how come the slide didnt lock back?

  • Still loud

  • Firing supersonic cartridges, I think.

  • you think?

  • That wasn't a 30rnd mag.

  • I agree, I counted 15 shots.

  • are suppressors illeagl in new york state or can you get a certain lisence to have on

  • Handguns are Illegal in NYS. Also you need a Federal Firearms License thats last i was told around $500 anually to legally down a Supressor in the USOFA

  • Handguns aren't illegal in New York State, where'd you get that idea?

  • I make my own.

  • where did u purchase the suppressor from??

  • Get ready to pay a few thousand for one, and $200 for a backround check and federal tax stamp to make it legal in the US, the expensive price is because the market for them sucks because of the NFA of 1934.

  • a few thousand for a suppressor? Un realistic. You can get a top of the line suppressor for around $900-1000 INCLUDING tax stanp and transfer fee.

  • think most of the sound is actually coming from impacts.

  • nah silencers are just alot louder than most people expect.

but they do make really expensive ones that are alot quieter.

  • 1cme1 is right, SUPPRESSORS (the more accurate term for them) only lower a gunshot by about 10-50 Db (decibles) depending on how well they are made. Their primary purpose is to make a gunshot unrecognizable in an enviroment with a lot of ambient noise (jungle, urban, indoors). like an old saying goes "A silencer does not make a marksman silent, but it does make him invisible"

  • suppressors arent like in call of duty and dont go plink plink plink it just reduces noise note completelty removes it

  • wernt they also used by snipers to reduce/remove muzzle flash?

  • to my understanding sound suppressors are meant to mask the sound of a gunshot by controlling the expanding gases leaving the barrel, while also reducing muzzle flash, i have heard one firearm that was suppressed to the point that all you could hear was the slide moving back and forth, but along with a sound suppressor they were using subsonic ammo which doesnt break the speed of sound, thus no sonic boom when leaving the barrel

  • The p90 is the weapon your talking about

  • Or the MP5SD..which as has been said, videotaped and posted about almost everywhere..about the only thing you hear of the MP5 is the bolt working when you are running subsonic ammo.

  • You can run 115grain 9mm through the SD and it will still be subsonic. The SD is ported to slow the bullets down to subsonic velocity. Pretty much all 9mm ammo is sub sonic in a true mp5sd.

  • is that loud with the suppressor

  • thats what i was thinkin, seeming he only shot 17 rounds

  • That's a pretty small "30 rnd mag."

  • it's actually a 19 rnd mag.

  • Maybe you should tell the poster that. ;)

    Did you read the description?

  • no, I didn't but I find it amusing that he would say that when you can count 16. And you are correct I had it mixed up with the XDm 9mm mag being 19 rounds.
