by the way, Tinkerbell was Peter Pan's fairy. Cookie was Bozo's sidekick. I think if you are going to comment on someone after they died, at least know the basic information about them. You are disrespectful at best.

he died??? AM NOT SCARED OF CLOWNS ANYMORE!!!....but I gotta say I never knew who bozo the clown was. I always hear his name when they wanna call someone a clown. How the heck did he get that much popular without me knowing who he was???
hi,143ac. i keep telling these people that bill britten was the first live action bozo on chl. 11. i was one of the first in the audience of the earlier shows with bill. i used to watch johnny jellybean too. ok,here's a question... at what time in the afternoon was bozo televised?
Larry Harmon was not a venerable Bozo. He was a self centered business man. This guy for the longest time insisted that he was the original Bozo, knowing full well that the honor really belonged to someone else (Pinto Colvig.) Yet he accepted the grace of initial recognition for such from the Clown Hall of Fame (which later revoked this award.)
Colvig only played Bozo for 10 years (1946-1956) and althogh he was the original, he was best known for being the voice of Goofy and less known for Sleepy and Grumpy in Snow White as well as the barks of Pluto. He was wrong for claiming to be the original, but you can also blame Alan Livingston who ACTUALLY created Bozo and who was the president of Capial Records, who sold the rights of Bozo to Harmon. Still think I'm and idiot?
Besides Colvig has been dead for 41 years, maybe if I was alive then and there was a youtube then, maybe I would have made a video about him dying of lung cancer.

Dear Spider Baby,
Larry Harmon did not play "Bozo"as a live action
on camera character on WPIX TV In NYC.
Bill Britten did the character on camera in NYC
on Ch.11 and later on Gordon Ramsey played the
character on camera on WOR TV Ch.9 in NYC.
