  • by the way, Tinkerbell was Peter Pan's fairy. Cookie was Bozo's sidekick. I think if you are going to comment on someone after they died, at least know the basic information about them. You are disrespectful at best.

  • You just had to use all the fowl language. I guess it showed your true low life colors. Trash like you makes me sick.

  • @AccordionProfessor at least I don't play with accordions :)

  • RIP: Larry Harmon

  • wasn't bozo the hippy dippy weather man

  • he died??? AM NOT SCARED OF CLOWNS ANYMORE!!!....but I gotta say I never knew who bozo the clown was. I always hear his name when they wanna call someone a clown. How the heck did he get that much popular without me knowing who he was???

  • Dear Eryops, Mr.Britten played"Johnny Jellybean"on WJZ/WABC

TV Ch.7 NYC's"Time For Fun!" from December 31,

    1956 to August,1958. The other hosts/performers of"TFF"were..Bob

    Keeshan As"Corney The Clown","Uncle Joe"Bova and

    Keith Hefner as"JJ Jellybean"/"Johnny Jellybean"#2.

  • Dear Eryops,

    WPIX TV Ch.11 NYC's"Bozo Show'was on weekday

evenings from 5:00 to 5:30 P.M.. The series debuted on Ch.11 on Monday September

14,1959. The show later moved to an earlier hour and

    was titled:"Bozo's Big Top Circus"..I don't know

    when that aired exactly?

  • what mentality this pudgy bastard has.

  • your an idiot

  • I remember him on TV as a child in the early 1960's. We lived in Passaic, NJ. Which Bozo was that one? Anyone know?

  • I believe that one was Gordon Ramsey.

  • that bozo was my good friend bill britten. who earlier in his career, was johnny jellybean.

  • no it was Gordon Ramsey!...

  • hi,blyspi. are you certain. i know there was a replacement after bill britten left. that i think was gordon ramsey.

  • What a jerk!

  • Dear Spider Baby,

Larry Harmon did not play "Bozo"as a live action

on camera character on WPIX TV In NYC.

Bill Britten did the character on camera in NYC

on Ch.11 and later on Gordon Ramsey played the

character on camera on WOR TV Ch.9 in NYC.

  • hi,143ac. i keep telling these people that bill britten was the first live action bozo on chl. 11. i was one of the first in the audience of the earlier shows with bill. i used to watch johnny jellybean too. ok,here's a question... at what time in the afternoon was bozo televised?

  • we are the blarff

  • I'm pretty sure that Larry Harmon was the clown I watched on New York's WPIX as a kid.

  • Mr Harmon also made some very funny Popeye cartoons also.

  • You're an idiot.....

Larry Harmon was not a venerable Bozo. He was a self centered business man. This guy for the longest time insisted that he was the original Bozo, knowing full well that the honor really belonged to someone else (Pinto Colvig.) Yet he accepted the grace of initial recognition for such from the Clown Hall of Fame (which later revoked this award.)

  • Colvig only played Bozo for 10 years (1946-1956) and althogh he was the original, he was best known for being the voice of Goofy and less known for Sleepy and Grumpy in Snow White as well as the barks of Pluto. He was wrong for claiming to be the original, but you can also blame Alan Livingston who ACTUALLY created Bozo and who was the president of Capial Records, who sold the rights of Bozo to Harmon. Still think I'm and idiot?

  • Besides Colvig has been dead for 41 years, maybe if I was alive then and there was a youtube then, maybe I would have made a video about him dying of lung cancer.
