@steviemax147 The four nuggets that dislike this are probably fans of the Spice girls Robbie Williams and other songwriting bullshitters, these guys are the real deal.
i remember it well , Distant sun was the first song played , i also remember Neil doing a song called "throw your arms around me " written by the brother of a member of crowded house , great gig thanks for posting , i have a DVD somewhere if i find i will upload the others
Stumbled across this video by mistake. What a result - three of my favourite bands lead singers performing together. All three amazing live. Should've formed a super-group on the back of this to rival the Travelling Wilburys!!!
roddy played the riff well. harmonies were good all round.top song from vocally controlled songwriters who brought the weather with them to yr upload for all their fans to view.
stumbled onto vis 1, great to c gg live ( 10cc, godley n creme, pionered video efect that mj copied on one of hes hits?) with neil, did well 2, good sound, harmonies, cheers.
Right. This was broadcast on the 2nd of July 1999 on BBC2. I've done a search on it and I reckon the only way we'll get an original pristine copy is if we bribe an insider.
I don't suppose anyone's got the the rest of this show. No one's posted Fall at Your Feet or Distant Sun (i think?). I saw it the night it aired and they were both stunning to hear. Genuine could-have-heard-a-pin-drop moments! Everyone was mesmerised! Bonly Weather With You has made it onto the net...
remember all this well do you have fall at your feet which was performed beautifully in this episode?,many thanks for posting great memories of a great show
Excellent video. Have you got distant sun by Neil Finn from the same performance ? It's absolutely breath taking, would be a very big help if you have it. Thanks :)
I have 5 songs from the concert I'm pretty sure I didn't drop any at the time, so must have missed the others at the start of the show, that must be one Finn and maybe 1 other from all 3 of them. Last time I had this up, some of Neil's song where suggested, but not "Distant Sun" (I would have remembered that). Lets just hope someone else has them.
I remember this too. Not sure about "Distant Sun" but he definitely played "Don't dream it's over". I have an audio recording of it and it is a brilliant version. I wish they'd show it again. Thanks for uploading these clips.
They dont make em like this anymore!!!

great song but neil goes flat on "you can find the sleep but not the dream" - sleep ain't quite on the note. but no big deal Neil, great song man
shortliner 3 years ago
He is only slightly flat and it adds character. The line is actually "fight the sleep" not "find".

Well that show's Neil is human, which is a relief because if I am not careful I am apt to elevate him to a God loke status!! ha ha ;-)
