  • @Nigelxman IMHO, Yes. He IS!

  • The 4 people that dislike this have clicked on the wrong icon!!

  • @steviemax147 The four nuggets that dislike this are probably fans of the Spice girls Robbie Williams and other songwriting bullshitters, these guys are the real deal.

  • As good as if not better then the album version.

  • He looks like Nathan Fillion

  • @FleetingProductions yes! Totally!

  • i remember it well , Distant sun was the first song played , i also remember Neil doing a song called "throw your arms around me " written by the brother of a member of crowded house , great gig thanks for posting , i have a DVD somewhere if i find i will upload the others

  • Holy shiiiiit, its the guy from 10CC, shit yehhhhh

  • Sounds odd without Tim singing though!

  • The MAN is a music god!

  • LOVE

  • Stumbled across this video by mistake. What a result - three of my favourite bands lead singers performing together. All three amazing live. Should've formed a super-group on the back of this to rival the Travelling Wilburys!!!

  • roddy played the riff well. harmonies were good all round.top song from vocally controlled songwriters who brought the weather with them to yr upload for all their fans to view.

  • stumbled onto vis 1, great to c gg live ( 10cc, godley n creme, pionered video efect that mj copied on one of hes hits?) with neil, did well 2, good sound, harmonies, cheers.

  • Right. This was broadcast on the 2nd of July 1999 on BBC2. I've done a search on it and I reckon the only way we'll get an original pristine copy is if we bribe an insider.

  • 27 May 1958 neil finn

    29 January 1964 roddy frame

    10 May 1946 Graham Gouldman

    all even years

  • I don't suppose anyone's got the the rest of this show. No one's posted Fall at Your Feet or Distant Sun (i think?). I saw it the night it aired and they were both stunning to hear. Genuine could-have-heard-a-pin-drop moments! Everyone was mesmerised! Bonly Weather With You has made it onto the net...

  • his back up on this - Roddy Frame - is one sexy MF!

  • Really good to hear Neil sing with another of my heroes, Graham Gouldman.

  • Roddy is good as well.........Graham, Bus Stop!! Best tune on this show, my own humble opinion of course

  • Neil Finn is one sexy MF!

  • got a big wiener.

  • @brendan101 He is?

  • That was well good ! Probably the best comment I've ever give out on You Tube ! Fuckin Excellent !

  • great!

  • beautiful version... have you heard the jimmy buffet version? awesome too...

  • Speaking as a semi pro vocalist, Neil Finn has the most controlled vocal in the world.......ok this aint his best but MAN what a voice

  • I remember watching this show on tv, didnt Paul Weller be on this too? all great musicians.

  • I did too, I am sure he did not

  • Flat? that's what real singers sound like when they don't sing thru ProTools. Turn off MTV!

  • that part that starts at 1:08 is awesome too

  • get a life sado

  • its his song he can play it how ever he likes ,when you can write a song half as good that come back you knob head!

  • Wonderful to see the three together - anyone know how or where to buy the whole show on video?

  • great song but neil goes flat on "you can find the sleep but not the dream" - sleep ain't quite on the note. but no big deal Neil, great song man

  • He is only slightly flat and it adds character. The line is actually "fight the sleep" not "find".

  • Well that show's Neil is human, which is a relief because if I am not careful I am apt to elevate him to a God loke status!! ha ha ;-)

  • I knoq Neil Finn and Roddy Frhe third man?ame but who\ia t

  • can someone tell me where and when this is from? and please how do i get a copy of the entire show?

  • remember all this well do you have fall at your feet which was performed beautifully in this episode?,many thanks for posting great memories of a great show

  • Excellent video. Have you got distant sun by Neil Finn from the same performance ? It's absolutely breath taking, would be a very big help if you have it. Thanks :)

  • I have 5 songs from the concert I'm pretty sure I didn't drop any at the time, so must have missed the others at the start of the show, that must be one Finn and maybe 1 other from all 3 of them. Last time I had this up, some of Neil's song where suggested, but not "Distant Sun" (I would have remembered that). Lets just hope someone else has them.

  • I remember this too. Not sure about "Distant Sun" but he definitely played "Don't dream it's over". I have an audio recording of it and it is a brilliant version. I wish they'd show it again. Thanks for uploading these clips.

  • So much talent in one room!

  • Very Nice !!! Great Band !!
