Windows all-in-one computers exist, but they never sold well because on the PC side most people realize they aren't worth the extra cost just to make your computer less upgradeable (unlike the idiots who buy Macs). I would rather have a 27 inch LCD monitor with an ATX mid tower or even a Mini-ITX computer mounted to the back of such a monitor. Plus the boat anchor situation is possible with Mac Pro's & a CRT.
I went to a college store, and they had some stupid HP laptop next to a MacBook Pro, and they were trying to sell the HP for the same price as the MacBook Pro.. $1,200! I pity I fool who would choose the HP.

Oh and did I mention that was over 2 YEARS ago, way better buy that the quickly outdated MacBook Pro.
Mac: Lasted a month, broke down, and was irreparable due to how it is constructed and whatnot. Cost > 2000 excluding things like the "magic mouse" and shit. While I did have it, it sucked majorly at everything, forced to pay an extra 100 for the special "Windows for Mac" just to make it usefull.
HP laptop: Lasted me 2 years and running, one crash caused by my own retardedness. Cost: 800 dollars
macbooks suck because when u put in the battery cord, it never charges and keeps saying ''not charging'' i agree!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND my itunes gift card didnt work so i emailed customer service and they said it would take 48 hours to fix the problem. 2 WEEKS later it was fixed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Plus unlike Apple, the battery is removable, you can add a microSD card and all this is done on a phone that's almost a full mm thinner than the iPhone 4.

I don't hate Apple as a company because I like the iPhone and iPod and stuff but I hate Macs. Mac computers are just completely overrated. Just scratching the surface, you pay $1,700 for a 300 GB hard drive with 2GB memory. With Windows you pay $500 for a 500 GB hard drive with 4 GB memory. You do the math. Plus, Macs are super un-user friendly.

@Petrico94 Well considering the MacBook Pro at $1,799 has a graphics processor designed for at best mid-level laptops and only 4GB of RAM, I would say yes. Whereas on the Windows side, MSI makes a laptop, which for less than $1,500 comes with a Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce 560M (1.5GB of dedicated RAM and far more powerful than the Radeon HD 6490M in the MacBook), 12GB of RAM, 1TB of storage space, 1080p screen and support for much larger library of games, I would say Mac's really are bad.

I tried playing a video game (minecraft) On my gramma's 3 GB RAM intel celeron windows 7 computer that was brand new and I had to lower the quality of the game to the lowest to make it not lag. Then I tried on my moms 5 year old macbook with 1 GB of RAM with a duo core processor and minecraft was only lowered slightly. Now I am not a mac fanboy (I just bought a PC) But I have also heard that it takes more memory for a pc to read something.
@beachbum111111 So, there's more to computer performance than RAM, so if you were trying to run Minecraft on a machine with a Celeron processor, there's your problem. Modern machines that use Celeron processors are almost always coupled with absolute **** graphics cards whereas even a much older Macbook would probably have a better one. Plus that doesn't change the fact that the MSI laptop crushes every aspect of a Macbook's specs, not just RAM.

It has a nVidia GTX 430 gfx card. An Intel core 2 duo processor, 1.8GHz overclocked to 2.3GHz. 2GB of ram and a nice little 150 gb SATA hard drive. Plus a keyboard and a mouse, an outdated high-end CRT monitor, and a decent sound system. (beleive me, this thing can be loud as fuck, and has a superb sound quality)
And guess what Mac fanboys? Under 500 euros and still runs the latest games. IN FUCKING NORMAL SETTINGS (minus anti-alising)

Actually when macs freeze, you hold down the power button for 5 seconds and it automatically shuts down. PCs you have to Unplug everything. Macs FTW. -__-
@suppJAKEY And you define a retard if you think that is the case, some PC cases have Reset buttons right on the case, one press and the entire system reboots in one second and any other PC it's as simple as holding down the Power button for 5 seconds or so depending on the computer, BIOS, operating system and motherboard. I think it's nice having a Mac and a PC... I use my Mac for my band, videos, pictures, music & other random browsing and whatnot. I really never have gotten a virus on it, and I use my PC for school and gaming. Isn't that how it's supposed to be? I mean why don't people just own both they're both great in my opinion.

I use Windows computers, but I don't hate Apple Mac computers. Macs are not that bad, it is just that they are extremely overpriced. I would never spend my money on a Mac. Second the Internet was beginning way before Apple even existed (the first origins of the Internet were developed in the 1950's, plus ARPANET went live in 1969). Apple has done no more to develop the Internet than anyone else and as a result, no one here owes them loyalty for "inventing" the Internet.

The point is that UNIX is meant to get you in tune with your computer with small programs that do one or few things, and do them well. The proprietary Mac front end and the so-called Apple philosophy 'protects' someone from the UNIX backend, thereby defeating the UNIX functionality for most users.

PSP is built on the MIPS architecture which is also used in Windows CE devices and video game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. Never once has MAC used this architecture build! PSP Media Engine and the NAND flash for the system software was developed for Sonys PSP & never tainted their genius by using MAC's OSX.

I love my mac, it's shiny and quick and it does what I tell it to do. I've had no complaints, whereas with my PC, it was too slow, it ran out of memory, it shut down on me unexpectedly. Granted, it was originally my mother's but I've always found that with PC.
I want to be a film editor and a mac allows me to use Final Cut pro, for which I haven't yet found an equivalent that offers as much and works as well. I'm not saying macs are the best thing in the world but for me they are highly useful.
@ktagr269 OLD PC != current PC tech so of course a "shiny new" Mac is "better". Of course if you actually had a decent computer with RAM to meet your needs (because normal people buy a machine suited to their needs or add RAM if they need it, it's no fault of Windows if you're using it all up running programs) then a machine with Windows would be just as good.
And I am tired of the Final Cut Pro argument, there's plenty of software for Windows available including Sony Vegas, Premiere and more.

I think that one of the reasons why people who don't understand computers much like macs more than pcs is , that it looks sterile and clean because all mac products look the same - organized and "sophisticated " for them. The reason is because there are many designs of pcs , they all look different , that is why they look unorganized to these people and thats why they then think that the mac is faster and more reliable than a pc.

@ktagr269 As a video editor, I cannot hate FCP more. For one thing, why the hell does Apple make these powerful Towers and their Final Cut Pro program WILL NOT utilize those cores on their own. It will only use about 30% of the power to render the video. You have to buy a program called COMPRESSOR in order to get to use all the cores. More problem than it's worth if you ask me.
I cut everything and produce everything on a ASUS G73jh laptop. Better than mac any day.

I don't hate Apple as a company because I like the iPhone and iPod and stuff but I hate Macs. Mac computers are just completely overrated. Just scratching the surface, you pay $1,700 for a 300 GB hard drive with 2GB memory. With Windows you pay $500 for a 500 GB hard drive with 4 GB memory. You do the math. Plus, Macs are super un-user friendly.
I've grown up as a PC user and I will always be a PC user. GO MICROSOFT!

@Petrico94 Well considering the MacBook Pro at $1,799 has a graphics processor designed for at best mid-level laptops and only 4GB of RAM, I would say yes. Whereas on the Windows side, MSI makes a laptop, which for less than $1,500 comes with a Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce 560M (1.5GB of dedicated RAM and far more powerful than the Radeon HD 6490M in the MacBook), 12GB of RAM, 1TB of storage space, 1080p screen and support for much larger library of games, I would say Mac's really are bad.

I tried playing a video game (minecraft) On my gramma's 3 GB RAM intel celeron windows 7 computer that was brand new and I had to lower the quality of the game to the lowest to make it not lag. Then I tried on my moms 5 year old macbook with 1 GB of RAM with a duo core processor and minecraft was only lowered slightly. Now I am not a mac fanboy (I just bought a PC) But I have also heard that it takes more memory for a pc to read something.

@beachbum111111 So, there's more to computer performance than RAM, so if you were trying to run Minecraft on a machine with a Celeron processor, there's your problem. Modern machines that use Celeron processors are almost always coupled with absolute **** graphics cards whereas even a much older Macbook would probably have a better one. Plus that doesn't change the fact that the MSI laptop crushes every aspect of a Macbook's specs, not just RAM.

I have a PC. It runs windows 7.
It has a nVidia GTX 430 gfx card. An Intel core 2 duo processor, 1.8GHz overclocked to 2.3GHz. 2GB of ram and a nice little 150 gb SATA hard drive. Plus a keyboard and a mouse, an outdated high-end CRT monitor, and a decent sound system. (beleive me, this thing can be loud as fuck, and has a superb sound quality)
And guess what Mac fanboys? Under 500 euros and still runs the latest games. IN FUCKING NORMAL SETTINGS (minus anti-alising)

@suppJAKEY And you define a retard if you think that is the case, some PC cases have Reset buttons right on the case, one press and the entire system reboots in one second and any other PC it's as simple as holding down the Power button for 5 seconds or so depending on the computer, BIOS, operating system and motherboard. Plus at that point, you really should look somewhere else, ex. Sager, Clevo, Eurocom, etc. as Alienware is the bottom of the barrel in terms of real performance/quality for your money. In other words Dell/Alienware FTL.

Second the Internet was beginning way before Apple even existed (the first origins of the Internet were developed in the 1950's, plus ARPANET went live in 1969). Apple has done no more to develop the Internet than anyone else and as a result, no one here owes them loyalty for "inventing" the Internet.

The point is that UNIX is meant to get you in tune with your computer with small programs that do one or few things, and do them well. The proprietary Mac front end and the so-called Apple philosophy 'protects' someone from the UNIX backend, thereby defeating the UNIX functionality for most users.

PSP is built on the MIPS architecture which is also used in Windows CE devices and video game consoles such as the Sony PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable. I love my mac, it's shiny and quick and it does what I tell it to do. I've had no complaints, whereas with my PC, it was too slow, it ran out of memory, it shut down on me unexpectedly. Granted, it was originally my mother's but I've always found that with PC.
I want to be a film editor and a mac allows me to use Final Cut pro, for which I haven't yet found an equivalent that offers as much and works as well. I'm not saying macs are the best thing in the world but for me they are highly useful.

Of course if you actually had a decent computer with RAM to meet your needs (because normal people buy a machine suited to their needs or add RAM if they need it, it's no fault of Windows if you're using it all up running programs) then a machine with Windows would be just as good.
And I am tired of the Final Cut Pro argument, there's plenty of software for Windows available including Sony Vegas, Premiere and more.

I think that one of the reasons why people who don't understand computers much like macs more than pcs is , that it looks sterile and clean because all mac products look the same - organized and "sophisticated " for them. The reason is because there are many designs of pcs , they all look different , that is why they look unorganized to these people and thats why they then think that the mac is faster and more reliable than a pc.

@Xtremeracer635 upon agreeing with i must say that if you sepnd the same amount of money and built yourself a computer (providing that you know how to) you will get a pc that is way faster, smarter, and more reliable than a shitty mac, and another thing i dont understand about apple it why? why must they make the most simpleist fucking things to do so fucking difficult? i can start writing but i will end up writing a fucking book about how fucked up apple products are.

That's exactly what I tell SO many morons. When you look at the specs PC offers WAY more than Mac will ever offer for the price. People need to realize it's only an operating system and not the actual computer, when you look at the hardware PC blows Apple away. They have computers for $1000+ for 2gb of ram, WTF Apple? With a PC for that cost would be tripled the ram

@ktagr269 As a video editor, I cannot hate FCP more. For one thing, why the hell does Apple make these powerful Towers and their Final Cut Pro program WILL NOT utilize those cores on their own. It will only use about 30% of the power to render the video. You have to buy a program called COMPRESSOR in order to get to use all the cores. More problem than it's worth if you ask me.
I cut everything and produce everything on a ASUS G73jh laptop. Better than mac any day.
