@33sera Are you talking about Prince William & Kate Middleton's wedding? Protocol only permits members of extended royal families, i.e the Crown Prince and Princess of Denmark, to be invited if the wedding is for an heir to a throne. Prince William is not so only the monarchs of each royal house are invited i.e the Queen of Denmark and her consort.

@TKaussie So why were the crown prince & princess of Spain, the Netherlands, & Sweden there? The queen of Spain was there with the crown prince & princess so it wasn't like they were being sent to represent the monarch. There were a few lesser royals from some of the royal houses there.

I'm sure there's some truth in what you say, but also maybe how close a relationship these countries have with England. If she hadn't just had twins Mary would have weaseled her way in-she loves media attention.

@viera1963 The King of Spain had recently had surgery so the Queen was supported by the Prince and Princess of Asturias in his absence. The Queen of the Netherlands declined her invitation due to her national Queen's Day celebration so the Prince of Orange and his wife represented her. The King of Sweden declined his invitation due to his own birthday celebration so the Crown Princess of Sweden and her husband represented him. The invitation will pass to another if one or both monarchs decline

I think you should take your own advice and spend more time looking beyond what the media portrays to see what work she does. A former Chinese prinsess, that cheated on her husband, and still get's social welfare in the high end - the very high end. The Royalty in Denmark was ended with King Frederik and Queen Ingrid. But you have to know history to know about these things.

She and many of her forum buddies trolling these videos have plenty to say about every little detail of CP Mary's life, but I don't see no where near the same amount of vile hate, villification and dedication to putting negative heat on any other CP in Europe. @girlgossipshow I must admit that Mary is not my favorite royal, not by far and I was hardly jumping up and down for joy when Fred proposed to her....., however, to dedicate myself to hating a woman that I don't know and that I will never know seemed somewhat ridiculous to me. It would be a complete waste of common sense, intellect, and energy. As far a royals go....what's better a bunch of royals or a bunch of resume building politicians? There are advantages and disadvantages to both.
