  • best band ever....

  • SUPER!

  • What a glorious racket.Fantastic.

  • FECK I love You tube, but it`s tooooo late, an old man`s gait, staggering up to you in the street with a mean....SMIiiiiiiiiiLE.

  • dont sweat it mate it s taken me years to admit this is the only band i could imagine myself playing music with , witch is the highest praise

  • I didn't get the Fall at first. I downloaded This Nation's Saving Grace and didn't care for it at first. It took time but I'm really getting into them. This song is awesome. I love TNSG now. I wish their records weren't so hard to find.

  • the eighties were great sometimes.

    thanks for posting.

  • he drums, he smiles...

  • was that Jools Holland with John Peel at the start?

  • This performance is what "got me into" The Fall in the first place all those years ago.

    Magfeckingificent.

  • Mark you big poser!!

  • You're right there, he thinks he's something he's not. I've met him so I know.

  • NIce to see John Peel...

  • The Fall have always been a 'disco band' even if it's only a disco in yer kitchen. John Peel only agreed to go on this show if he could select a band to play himself....guess who he chose?

  • There's only One Stephen Paisley, There's only One Stephen Paisley, he used to be shite, but now he's alrite, walkin in a Paiso wonderland

  • Brilliant, esp. considering when this was created, against the 80s reactionist music scene, the anti-Madonna, Rotten's "we don't care" carried forward and turned sideways, we don't care, here it is

  • "lick spittle southerner waiting for next holiday by gas miser"

  • Marc E's languid lyrics and hard hitting imagery always strikes a blow against those pap pop songs. This song stands out as a beacon amid a sea of mediocre slosh. Thanks for posting the vid.

  • Smile

    The Roze Marba

    Smile

  • the fall assault the senses. the 80's pop fans weren't prepared for this...

  • The funniest thing about this is in watching the hopelessly clueless 80s dudes in the audience trying to dance to this blessed shipwreck of a tune :)
