  • God that was one sexy, badass airplane!

  • One guy was a Libyan fighter pilot.

  • the F- 14 for CAS?

i throught the A-10 was for CAS?

  • @armyboy57 Any aircraft armed with a weapon that can reach the ground is technically capable of conducting Close Air Support of ground troops. The A-10 actually has several other missions that it is tasked with other than CAS. In fact, most CAS for US forces is actually conducted by the F-16 and F/A-18 because there are greater numbers of those in the inventory than A-10/AV-8B.

  • @armyboy57 ITS A F14

  • t/o np , see how it doesn't even need burner , just full mil pwr ! what a plane , fly navy !

  • @SSaugaCriss f-14 is my fav jet but most jets dont need afterburner to takeoff from a carrier

  • @looneycrewvideos most did until the superhornet & supertomcat joined the fleet ! with ordenance or certain density altitudes they still may use afterburner to assist on climbout after the launch . the key point with the AB is to be at max power for climb rate or to maintain altitude following a cold-shot . regards , Tomcat was the King of the air and got all the chix too !

  • F-14 tomcat is the cool fighter on the carrier...

I can't believe it could take-off from the deck

  • Tomcat by choice , Rhino by mandate ...

  • HELLZ YEAH!!!

  • What does CAS stand for?
