Experience is nothing in washington. Experiennce for what? Playing the same games over and over that make those guys in washington richer and the masses poorer? Obama bring hope for we the hopeless.
A Clinton/Obama or Obam/Clinton team would have been a sure win and a force to reckon with. Unfortunately it doesnt seem as if this will ever happen. I love both Candidates and i love the Clintons but we need some new ideas and new blood in the White House. Barack Obama is the one.
wow....um....well i dont want obama to win and neither do i want hilary. pulling out of Iraq will surely lead to the regrouping of Al Qaeda and more violence. lose lose situation
Obama is Casey Casem Wind-up and watch him read his script phoney ass politician. Banking on sacking the black vote. Ron Paul for President to end the frigking wars on terror and drugs.
Lets face it obama has no experience/ his answers for sure are pre answered by opera haha.. I like opera, but I certainly don't want a president be a president because of the input of someone whose talk shows sell well. They are just talk shows--watched by housewife's while doing their house chores
There is a candidate that had the experience to be president from the first minute he takes the oath of office and he will not need a lot of on the job training!! That man is Joe Biden!!! I really like Obama a lot but I do not think he is ready (yet) to be president of the United States of America.
Barack is the real deal, the United States is NOT United its divided by the poor and rich. We no longer have a democracy but a plutocracy in the Un United States of America. Barack Obama is the Robin Hood who will give back to his dear beloved American people, unlike past and present president's that look at lining their own pockets and do not look at whats in the best interest of all Americans
Then you need to go to his website. Or maybe go listen to him speak; the press likes to take the best soundbytes. And he gives some great ones. Odd remark, I guess, given that he has SO many well thought-out policies. Haven't heard this from any one whose SEEN his policies!!
All Presidents will have professionals, aids, and advisors readily available to provide intelligence, offer suggestions, etc. Therefore, what makes a good president is not necessarily experience, but sound judgment, honesty, sincerity, and integrity.
BTW: True experience living abroad, especially, in a place vastly different than America, is very valuable experience. It gives him a different, real down to earth perspective of things in general.
Huckabee's just a Bush a more pussified George Bush. He'll just decide everything based off his faith and spend out of control with little regard for the long-term health of the country.
Mitt Romney vs. Obama would be ideal...Both young, energetic, optimistic guys...
Both men are unwitting traitors, they are from the CFR. Both have not addressed why NAFTA is being pushed through without Congressional oversight. Texans are being raped by Spanish Company building the Superhighway, with no limits on tolls and a 50 yr. lease. MEXICAN SOVERIGN TERRITORY in KANSAS hub. They don't tell you about your devaluing dollar. Do you know how you get lower interest rates? By PRINTING MORE MONEY. WAKE UP YOU PATRIOT.
Im regestered rebublican and this is my first time voting and Iam voting for Barack Obama. We need a young face and someone that is not as corrupted as the other democrats and rebulican candidates. BARACK AND ROLL!
Iowa Native. I am more than proud to do my civic duty on January 3rd. Any other Iowa Natives, get up that Thurday and caucus for this great man and make history. I am fired up and ready to go. R U??
I don't understand how people can be persuaded by Hilary's trite dependence on the concept of "experience" to discredit Obama. It's becoming increasingly clear it's the only legitimate (if that) card she can play at the moment, every time she uses it I become increasingly more disappointed with her. Try actually outshining him rather than staining credibilities.
He is the man, NO DOUBT! He is the peace, the leader and saviour we need to lay the foundation. By their fruits we shall know them. what are we waiting for? please dont just nod your head to the facts, move and cast your vote. you have your time and chance. the change we need is in your hands. we dont want to say later that, oh! what a little fraction, he would have won if my family voted for him. it is better to be glad u did the right thing now.Vote BARACK OBAMA for president 2008
I got to see him in western Iowa, the conditions were pretty bad though it was in a sale barn and about 100 degrees, everything he has to say just makes so much sense....very honest
Hillary Clinton being a former First Lady is not an asset, IMHO. Specifically, how can you brag about being part of the circus that Bill Clinton's presidency became? How badly it failed? How he lied to, embarrased, and disappointed the American people? How is bragging about being part of THAT a good thing?
They still haven't said what happened with Bill Clinton's paternity suit! What happened with that? Is that his kid or not?
You've gotta admit though that Bill Clinton's Presidency sparked rapid economic growth and surplusses within the U.S. Sadly we've slumped into a rediculous deficit under George W. Bush though.
I fully agree though, being a former First Lady doesn't mean much aside from inciteful international visitations.
Barack Obama is making headway because he's making sense. For the first time in a long time, a politician is making sense when he opens his mouth. He's giving intelligent, sincere answers to questions, and he's not being evasive, wishy-washy, or phony. He is proving without a doubt that he is capable of handling the job as President.
No one claims that Laura or Barbara Bush have all this experience that would've made them great senators. Why is actually working on ground level w/ real Americans for yrs & then w/ the nitty-gritty of state gov. not as important as attending luncheons & flying in private jets and organizing failed health care plans? Barack's been in gov. office 4 yrs longer than Hill. If she denies that state gov. is valid experience, she's saying Bill didn't have enough experience to be president.
Apparently Howard Wolfson can't do math. More elected experience than: Wilson, Reagan, Carter, George W. Bush, Eisenhower, Truman, Teddy Roosevelt, Lincoln, Washington, Jefferson.
Barack Obama is our/ America's Next President. Obama is the radical change that we need. We haven't had a strong and honest President for many years. It's time for an honest man, a man who stands for righteousness, honesty and just wanting this America to be the AMERICA it can be, not just for the millionaires and billionaires.
Nightline didn't do a very good job of vetting that Clinton campaign response at the end there for accuracy. They'll say anything at this point apparently.
What does this man stand for? I've watched dozens of videos about him and have yet to hear where he really stands on anything. What about foreign policy? Monetary Policy? The Federal Reserve? Taxes? Does he ever answer anything with a solid answer?
I really resent this suggestion that Hillary only feels she is qualified for running for President just because she was 1st lady. She always said that she was running on her own merit but was proud of her husbands record. Look up her 1995 UN speech made as 1st lady, not to campaign for President on behalf of herself or Bill, but simply to address the issue of women's rights across the world. You might be familiar with these themes that she is still fighting for in her own campaign today.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
Hillary's camp is worried, otherwise they would not be commenting on Obama's promotions so quickly. The Iowa campaigne looks intense and things are going to get even more intense as the primaries progress. Good Luck Obama. You have my vote!
Apparently you haven't listened to enough of his speeches, bring the troops home is one of things he emphasizes constantly along with the fact that he voted against going to the war in Iraq.
Hillary's response was so lame and such a cheap shot. Their campaign is just mad Obama brought up some great points...Hillary doesn't qualify for being the most experienced just b/c she was Clinton's wife. Barack Obama can't be stopped. He's the best person for the job and Hillary better step out of the way! It's time to bring some good back into this country and turn this ship wreck around. BARACK OBAMA 2008!!!!
He could be the man that rescue The US from the caos, and restore the trust, the tolerance
and most of all get rid of all the Nazi style us policies(brought to you by The bush fam). But then again American bigotry, fobias, and paranoias will not allow it.
A new Zogby Interactive survey shows Democrat Hillary Clinton of New York would lose to every one of the top five Republican presidential contenders, representing a reversal of fortune for the national Democratic front--runner who had led against all prospective GOP opponents earlier this year. Meanwhile, fellow Democrats Barack Obama of Illinois and John Edwards of North Carolina would defeat or tie every one of the Republicans, this latest survey shows.
Simple thought, Do the other candidates (Hillary) drag their own bags up to their rooms at night? Next time I am dragging my bag through an airport or hotel I will think of him doing the same, like me, not willing to find someone below him to do his dirty work, just getting the job done.
Thanks for the upload, what a great piece! Obama my just be the underdog who actually busts it out and claims victory... I hope so! You got MY vote Barack!
Barrack Obama is the only chance at hope that America has left in us, Hillary Clinton is only interested in private interest such as George bush was. Obama all the WAY!!!!!!
If it's a 'resume competition', Gravel, Dodd, Biden, and Richardson have it in the bag. They've all been in the game for 20+ years (30+ in the case of Dodd, Biden, and Gravel), and they've got all kinds of feathers in their caps in terms of changing the course of history. Hilary's claim to be the candidate that brings experience to the table is about as factual as Guillianis claim to be a 9/11 rescue worker when all he did was show up at ground zero in a photogenic hat.
Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney also has the experience and packed resume, but look at the mess they've made: bloated deficit, 3,000+ dead Americans 200,000 Iraqi civilians, tax-cuts for the wealthy and no health insurance of American's children(SCHIP).
Yes, and Joe Biden is the one with the most foreign policy experience (as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations committee), the most intelligence, and the strongest vision, know-how, and track record for getting things done. But do we care about any of this...? ?
I'm an Iowan. I like Biden, except for his plagiarizing speeches and being one-dimensional in experience. I like Richardson, but I'm afraid he'll get too tired out; he's had some MAJOR bloopers on the trail. I like Edwards, but for his horrific voting record in his one term.
I started out a Clinton supporter but I'm a feminist.
But Barack Hussein Obama; He's the one with the well balanced wisdom, the absolutely informed policies, the INTEGRITY, the balanced judgment.
I missed this on Nightline (I don't watch Nightline much since Ted Koppel left), so I really appreciate youre uploading a full 17+ minutes. I particularly liked the look at how Obama is drawing distinctions between himself and Clinton w/o being mean or personal. If Obama does not do that job, I suspect the GOP will not be as respectful in asking similar questions about Clinton's qualifications and capacity to bring change.
That was enjoyable.

He certainly deserve the presidency, yet I am not sure that we deserve him.
Question: What can we do to really deserve Obama as our president?
What can we (the Youtubers and internet fans) do to gain Obama more domination over the internet based Blogs, news, reports, videos, emails, ads, etc?
If Ron Paul supporters can dominate the internet, why can't we do the same? Clearly Obama has more supporters.
