  • Where'd you get that grille? Although it probably wouldn't fit on my 2004 lariats honeycomb grille any way

  • are these the 33x12.50's? if so, do you have any rubbing problems on rough ground? i wanted that size but i was told it wouldnt fit, even with my leveling kit, but it seems to fit just fine. great looking truck!

  • @79lance Thanks bro, mine are 285-70 17 tires that are a hair smaller than a 33-12.50, but is inbetween a 32-11.50 and 33-12.50. no rubbing at all.

  • is that a 2 or 2.5in leveling kit?

  • @socomplicating I do believe it is a 2.5'' kit, made by dayton.

  • NICE TRUCK!!! i read in 4x4 magizine that with the 2.5 leveling kit on 06 and newer f150's you can run 35" tires. do you think you could run 35's on your truck? i know they are very simular trucks but i wondered if sumthing was different? did you ever have any problems with the spark plugs stripping out, shooting out or breaking off in the head? i think it was a problem in the 04-05's

  • @BLACKLACDTS Thanks, i'm not sure if 35s would fit, it would be close and posibly need fender trimming or other. I have not had any trouble with spark plugs, and hope i dont.

I havent heard of those problems, i know 05s had some injector problems.

  • @micahgray1 the mechanic at my work has a 05 and he had the spark plug problems and he said the dealership told him its be known to happen. im in the market for a pickup so im just tryin to find out all i can. how is the gas mileage with the 33's?

  • @BLACKLACDTS I have never really checked my mpgs, i will say it does not seem to be too bad. I have a work van i drive during the week so she really only gets driven on weekends. What type of problem did your buddy at work have with the plugs? Anything major.

  • @micahgray1 yea he has a 04 4 door 4x4 with the 5.4 which is the first year of the body style and he had problems with the plugs breaking, strippin out, and even workin there way out of the head.

  • thats an awesome truck!! wat year? wat trim package? 5.4L? any other mods?

  • 2004 xlt 4x4 screw, i added front grill and fender flares so it does look like a lariat.

    Has 5.4L v8.

  • thanks. that an aweomse truck. check out my f150 lariat. its the blue one.

  • What leveling kit did you use?

  • dayton 2.5 inch polyurthane spacers.

  • Are those 33 X 12.50?

  • 285x70x17= 32.5x 11.50 very close

  • wha chyou think aboawt that

  • man the new F-150 so ugly compared to these

  • Althought I don't think they're ugly, I have to agree that the 11th Gen 2004-2008's are the nicest looking trucks to date.

  • o man thats my dream truck!

  • wheels are 6089 series 17x9

  • what are the wheels are they pro comp 1089's

  • Have you had any problems with the tires rubbing...or suspension problems? I'm getting ready to put 33's on mine. Looks good!

  • Thanks,no problems at all, not even at full steering wheel turn. The tire are a little stiff but i cut the air pressure from 65psi to 45psi and it rides perfect.

  • i think i like that. Ima do that to mine as a matter of fact. lol.

  • 2.5 inch dayton level kit, nothing in the rear.

  • "what you think about that"?

well i think it looks damn sexy in the spring i'm buying some 33's for my 05 screw, guessing you just running a leveling kit?

  • 2.5 level kit dayton nothing in rear.
