  • It's Robert Ballard...the same man that found the Titanic and the Bismarck (a WWII German battleship that was sunk by the British on it's maiden voyage).

  • Didn't the last diving expo find chains used for sea mines in the same vicinity where britannic rests at.

  • @ridder6689 no Richard Ballard found no evidence of mine support chains

  • John Rhys-Davies! He is a fantastic actor!

  • this is all wrong. the brittanic was a ww2 milatary medical ship. it supposly hit a mine.

  • @mitchelldomino it wasnt a mine it was a submarine that blew them up

i think it was a mistake somehow, thats what i heard

  • @mitchelldomino i mean ww1

  • As inaccurate as it is, I still love this movie

  • HER SISTER'S 100TH ANNIVERSARY IS AWAY AHEAD IN 6 MONTHS . APRIL 15TH.

  • @johnjj1111 Yeah but if I'm not mistaken, they didn't say those were unsinkable.

  • Britannic kicks ass! :D

  • meybe not the exact year but the same date

  • @johnjj1111 wth you reply to me now and yes it was i

  • never call a ship unsinkable.

  • i really wish i could find titanic on YouTube but this one is good too.

  • what f***? 0:48 four propellers? Mauretania feelings

  • @DanDauzacker I believe it is the Majestic in 1914, when she was launched. The ship on 0:48 was given to the White Star Line as a compensation for the sinking of Britannic.

  • @DanDauzacker I believe it is the Majestic in 1914, when she was launched. The ship on 0:48 was given to the White Star Line as a compensation for the sinking of Britannic.

  • this is an awesome movie.i am definently going to get it

  • check my vid of the legendary liners watch?v=_fJA1iZMviY

  • @stevens20112011 elle suce que le Britannique avait à couler aussi!

  • Britannic lays off the island of Kea ... she was hit my a mine and sank fast because of the windows left open, the mine blew up 6 of her watertight bulkheads, in other words, she was 50% safer then titanic she sank in a n hour because the captian tried to beach the ship and the windows issue. the only people who died were the ones who paniced and got crushed by the rotating propellers. she was turned into the wrlds largest underwater musuem

  • "Ok so lets be realistic, just because the bigger one of the two sank means this one can't right? I mean come on, what are the chances of it happening twice :D"

  • Not all of White Star Line's ships sunk...Olympic, one off the 3 giant ships, was the only one to survive. In fact, the Olympic's career spanned almost a quarter of a century!.... But in the end it was sold and stripped of the stuff that was valuable and finally scrapped.

  • @RelinquishTheBlood WHERE WAS SHE SCRAPPED AND WHEN ? I HEARD SHE WAS TURNED IN TO A GAY DISCO.

  • @RelinquishTheBlood First of all, the White Star Line didn't own just 3 ships, lol. It owned several dozen over the course of it's 100 year history.

  • Any ship that The White Star Line creates are "unsinkable." However, all of them sank. Am I the only one who thinks that this is bizzare?!

  • @charleerox123 The White Star Line said virtraly unsinkable

  • @charleerox123 The White Star Line said virtraly unsinkable but virtraly was soon forgoten

  • @richerds1234 No they didn't. It was 'Ship Builders' weekly /monthly that said the RMS Titanic was unsinkable. White star never said it was unsinkable!

  • Is this movie on DVD by any chance? If it is,where can I find it?

  • @KC9SYJ Yes, but its rather rare and very hard to find.

  • why do germans have to sink every boat they see?

  • The CGI in this movie is terrible.

  • Actually. The britannic was unsinkable but not from an explosive. but its hull was 2x stronger then titanic and olympic

  • For it's been 44 years of confuion at times being half German and half English decent...

  • i never seen this movie but i seen the movie Titanic

  • I love how the guy around the 3:10 mark tells the lady "It was the bulkheads that sank the Titanic." Until 1985, it was always believed that the iceberg cut a 300 foot long gash into the Titanic. Only when the ship was discovered did they find out that the bulkheads gave way. HUGE movie mistake.

  • @dhutchinson86 They did think that was part of it at that time, that the water had flowed over them like and icecube tray, so the bulkheads on Brittanic did go up another 5 decks, into the superstructure.

  • the Gigantic Is The Britannic...

  • Is it just me or do the majority of white star line ships become graves?

  • i hate the iceberg that sunk the titanic

  • The kids are f***cking annoying!!

  • Captain Bartlett WAS never disappoint to be given command of Britannic.

He was glad since was made the Ship's supervisor in the days after the sinking of Titanic. He vow that the tragedy that unfolded on Titanic would never happen to Britannic.........

And he was wrong about that.

  • neither ship was ever said to be unsinkable learn the story properly

  • @krugerfuchs Actually yes. Titanic was said to be Unsinkable, though Harland & Wolffe promote it as Practically Unsinkable Britannic was said to be a Perfect Specimen of man's creative power as it is possible to concede. Though some of the workers did refer to her more Unsinkable than Titanic.

  • @AROBASPARK you're slightly right it was shipbuilder magazine that took the practically out of the sentence after that people started with the unsinkable crap for both ships no one took much notice till then

  • Titanics Captin: very nice

    Britanics Captin: Bitch

  • RIP Titanic and Britannic May the life's who where on May ya'll rest in Peace

  • what i what to know what ever happen to the olyianic

  • @theMightRussia unfortunatly she was scrapped in 1935 :{

  • @RFKFANTS67 whaaa... stuido whitestar line the only one ship that lived and umm 17ish years later they did that> grrrr!

  • don't get me wrong, this movie is /okay/, but it feels like a rehash of titanic but on her sister ship. i mean, the love story, the running through sinking corridors and just nearly getting out in the time, the main guy dying...even the opening sequence feels familiar. plus, this acting here isn't all that great. like at all.

i probably sound bias, but titanic was much better. but then again, this movie was pretty much completely fictional except for the brittanic sinking and all that stuff.

  • why must they always say unsinkable...........

  • Haha, oh my god, turn on CC in this video, the translations are the best!

    5:24 - Didn't know where your mom

    5:53 - Oristate Cancer

  • gibt es denn film auch in deutsch ?

  • todays the day it sank

  • 04.07 why is that happening

  • titanic was the only "irony" cause it sank from a humbel ice berger on its first vouage. brtanic got topedode not once but 7 times...she had all the right in the world to sink and what about olmpic it sank 4 german U-BOATs and was given the name old relable

  • @cheropride Britannic sank from striking a mine.

  • FINALLY! I been searching this movie for years

  • 1:17 thats the worldwar II

  • SCHADE DAS ES DENN FILM HIER NICHT IN DEUTSCH GIBT

  • @scorchdestroya

maybe we should say they can sink so they don't

  • 0:51 thats the Lusitania

  • i miss this ship

  • It was the media who said they where unsinkable. The media back then was full of shit just like today.

  • @Sooksawaspakdee961 thye say every ship is unsinkable, but even the new cruise ship oasis of the seas ( 5 times the size of the titanic ) is easily sinkable , every ship is

  • To say a ship is unsinkable is bloody stupid. It's like spitting in the face of, God.

  • @TouchedMyDreams well the company itself didnt say it. nor the builders. It was said to be VIRTUALLY unsinkable, not completely.

  • If I was that girl, I'd be like, "Oh, f*** no! I'm not going on another ship they say is unsinkable! You go sink, Mother!" lol

  • @SakuraKiss95

There really was a nurse - she wasn't a secret agent obviously - who survived the Titanic disaster and then survived the Brittanic sinking. She was also aboard the Olympic when she was in collision with another ship and badly damaged.

The Red Star Line had hoped that all three ocean liners would have ruled the seas but they ended up being taken over by their competitors Cunard Line. Aint life a bitch? lol

  • @MultiBigThunder you mean white star line

  • Britannic sunk; her sister Titanic sunk... People really need to get their f-ing minds straight about building "unsinkable" ships.

  • @SakuraKiss95 People were just so narrow minded. They thought they learned their lessons with Titanic and heightened her watertight doors to B deck, incorporated a double skin that ran the full length of the ship, and put the largest lifeboat davits ever put on a ship. It would take until after WWI until people realized they weren't invincible. And to the other people, I know its most likely Britannic struck a mine, but to this date nobody has ever found the mine's anchor so its up or debate.

  • they should have somthing in there how Britannic was first called Gigantic

  • Shes soooo Unsinkable hehe too bad really bad luck. btw this movie is really really cheesy lulz!

  • bei part 1 ist alles schwarz weiß aber bei part2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 ist alles bunt gemacht

  • that bitch likes riding ships which are big and are very sinkable

  • Why was is that all the huge 'unsinkable' ships were the ones to sink? -_-

  • it is amazing, Laid down as the R.M.S. Gigantic, then changed to Britannic, had extensive refits and modifications to prevent another disater, WWI breaks out 7 months after launching, made into a hospital ship, struck a mine off the Greek coast and sank in 55 mins. and they didnt learn that no ship is unsinkable.

  • i thought the Britannic was un sinkable

  • @thebreezeful You can't make an unsinkable ship. History proves that. And no one ever said she was unsinkable.

  • LOL @ 3:36. People really need to stop saying that the ship they’re on is unsinkable. There basically jinxing themselves.

  • be careful putting this online

  • I like how the captain is so tough and strict but he didnt have to be so mean to her

  • I think this is a very nice movie! Thank you for getting it on youtube =)

  • verry good when did it come out

  • idk i like em both the same my favorite ships the edmund fitzgerald onestly but i love all ships

  • Wow! That woman must of been a beast at surviving sinking ships.

  • @Bannanasbreakdance You know, there was a woman who traveled aboard the Titanic, then on the Olympic in 1913 when she hit a warship, then served as a nurse aboard the Britannic. Hah.

  • Violet Jessop survived the RMS Olympic (SS 400)/HMS Hawke collision, Titanic (SS 401) & Britannic (SS 433).

  • How could she survive the RMS Olympic? It never sank

  • the was hit by another one

  • a nurse callled nurse Jessop, survived the titanic and the brittanic and some other ship that sank. THX for the movie

  • @daniel252ful

she was on titanic's older sisiter the Olympic twice once when crashed into another ship at the harbor on her maiden voyage and again after titanic when it ran over a smaller war vessel.

  • 0:50 seconds thats not britannic

  • Yeah I think it is the SS Bismarck.

  • @lionellines1900 I think it was the RMS Majestic which was given to the White Star Line in the 1920's, after they lost the Britannic.

  • Hournor the Dead!

  • this is a good movie but titanic is still better

  • but titanic is much more "hollywood-ized", despite being a great movie.

  • amigo nice movie .. gracias por subirla :)

  • the thing about titanic is that when she sank they didnt call her titanic for a while, well at least harland and wolff didnt, they called her 401, her hull number. britannic wouldnt have had those passengers on board either.

  • yes, that is true. most ships by white star line were identified as numbers. due to the fact that most of the ships had the same designs. good point.

  • well, actually the white star wasnt behind that, it was harland and wolff, that way they can know how many ships had been built. like titanic was 401, olympic was 400, and britannics was like 409 i think

  • wow they're saying that the titanic and britannic are unsinkable yet they both sank

  • lol so true

  • well If the britannic sunk in the coast of kea why arn't they stupid enough to raise at least one piece of the ship or somthin?

  • its a graveyard to people. it would be like digging up a grave and taking stuff from the coffin. its rude, and every ship that sank is a graveyard to people. you cant just take stuff or raise it. and sometimes people just dont weem to realize that. im glad you brought that up, cause im not trying to be rude. its a good thing you brought that up because more people now understnad why taking stuff from ships is bad. its a graveyard. every ship rests in peace, or peices like the titanic.

  • @goldengun5980 The ship is in its entirety unlike her sistership which lies in may pieces on the bottom of the Atlantic. There are no small pieces to raise without having to actually detach something from the wreck.

  • @titanicnerd02 wtf we raised one piece of the titanic...nvm

  • @scorchdestroya Actually Britannic sunk because she was damaged by a mine something they couldnt see on titanic they saw the iceberg and could have doged they didnt see it coming on britannic

  • @scorchdestroya

And yet, that just goes 2 show that nothing...NOTHING is unsinkable. Be it made of steel, metal, wood, or iron. Titanic, Luisitania (pardon my spelling if its wrong), Britannic, and the Andrea Doria proved that. And thats not all that proved those wrong neither, battle ships were probly designed the same way, yet they lay rest as well.

  • @RE4LEGEND Dont forget the Bismarck

  • @titanicnerd02

Of course how could I forget? Haha, man I remember how I used to be such a nerd back in my younger days. In Elementary i'd always check out Titanic books and stuff like that over and over. Yea I was THAT interested in this stuff.

  • @scorchdestroya i think tere sisiter ships

  • @scorchdestroya i think tere sisiter ships sister sry

  • @scorchdestroya now you know why they dont call ships unsinkable it never ends well

  • @scorchdestroya Actually, no one was saying the Titanic was unsinkable until after it sank.

  • @scorchdestroya Along with the Lusitania and Gigantic

  • @scorchdestroya yeah and olympic was never claimed unsinkable but she rammed 2 enemy subs, and survived the accident with the HMS Hawke and yet she lived till scrapping by the nickname of the old reliable. incredible aint it?

  • @scorchdestroya God really hates it when they said that

  • @scorchdestroya They never said^^ They said that it was the safest ship, and nearly unsinkable. BTW. if only one thing would have been different none of both ships would have sunk...if the titanic didnt try to turn, it would have survived, and if the torpedo/mine on the britannic exploded only 10 minutes later, it would have survieved too :)

  • omg ive been loking for this movie....i saw it like 6 yers ago if im not mistaken...and thank god ive found it =]

  • What's the name of that song?

  • Childe Harold's Pilgrimage/Canto The Fourth Is A Long And Amazing Work Of art By George Gordon Byron

  • I was thinking what if Titanic had watertight doors like right next to the walls on each side of the ship ? If they had those doors like that instead of deeper inside the ship it could have kept the water out with very little flooding.

  • you mean longitudinal bulkheads? it's a good thing Titanic didn't have them. as was talked about during the investigations, and which was witnessed during the sinking of the Lusitania, Have longitudinal bulkheads aswell as Transverse increases the Liner's List If/When Sinking. if Titanic Had Had These She Would Have Most Certainly Gone Down Alot Faster, albeit prolly in one piece but i digress.

  • they did have watertight doors where you are talking about. but here is the thing. they werent really waterproof. none of the doors were acctually water proof. you may notice that none of the water proof doors even touch the ceiling. they arent connected right. plus they were not constructed right. so yes in a way your right. if they had more people like you to tell them that maybe the titanic wouldnt have gone down like that. thank you

  • hahahahah u actually fighting over something over ther internet this is funni

  • So why are there passengers boarding a Royal Navy Auxiliary? Despite being a hospital ship, she is a military vessel.

  • The ship on the launch at0:49 and again at 0:58 is clearly not the Britannic but the footage at 1:05, 1:11, 1:19, 1:25. The Britannic had 3 screws and the ship shown at 0:49 and 0:58 clearly has four screws. My guess is that the ship that is not the Britannic is probably either the Aquitania or one of the German Trio.

  • the ocean liner in thsoe two clips is that of the RMS Aquitania, you can barely see Aquitania On the Stern it you use a magnifying glass.

  • xilelord, i agree when the titanic went sideways the edges got scraped and pulled it down if it went forward it would just be stuck but we'll never know i guess and not being mean or anything but thousands of people die each day and boats sink every day just because they said it was unsinkable doesnt make those people special

  • the titanic didnt go sideways ..it sank forward then split in half

  • wow shut the hell up u dont know what u r talking about watch the movie do ur homework

  • u shut up ...matter fact y dnt u stfu ...ur seriously an idiot the titanic DID NOT sink sideways ...nd for your info ive did my research since ive heard about the titanic BEFORE the movie even came out so dnt tell me anything about that ship i know more about titanics story than u do ...nd if u seen the movie than ur seriously blind or just plain stupid bcuz not at one point did titanic sink sideways obviously u didnt do UR h.w dumb ass

  • Though i still think if Titanic went THROUGH the icerberg instead of trying to avoid it the ship never would have sunk. Reason for it is because they could have stopped the waterflow easier but the ship still would have been heavily damaged.

Britannic was stronger but still you see it sink. The ships they built were to heavy and couldn't steer worth shit. Even the OLYMPIC almost sank.

    Gorgeous ships though

  • you are 100% correct. if titanic had just rammed the iceberg it would have limped home with its forward 2 compartments filled.

  • "Unsinkable" funny they said the same thing about titanic..........

  • this is a pretty video

  • the only thing i hated in this film was the soundtrack its so bloody depressing we are meant to remember the ship for its good things not about how horrible the war was

  • this is a cool movie glad were in the 20th century know we dont have those accidents in ships these days

  • 21th century, excuse me.

  • I,m German and i Love the Movie! I understand not good english, But i buy me this movie on German :D War is bad! But i hate not England! This is Kinda shit!

  • sorry but at 0:53 it is not the Britannic.

    The film is cool :P

    5*

  • chutoman

  • i haven't watched this whole video, but i think it's stupid how they made Britannic. i mean why didn't they learn from their mistakes? Olympic didn't sink, it retired, but titanic sunk. they thought that Britannic would be even more invincible than titanic, and what happened to the oh so invincible titanic? IT FUCKING SUNK!

  • this film reminds me of some cheap video gaem I had, GO DK!!!!!!

  • he said CRUISE ship, at the time, cruise ships were very rare if not un heard of, she was an ocean liner / hospital ship

  • Thanks very much for posting this!

  • yeah the movie was ok but I liked Titanic better.

  • Had her portholes been closed at the time of the explosion, she would not have sunk in the first place.

  • i think if they had closed the portholes the ship are closed the ship still will sink

  • Of the 3 "sisters" - Olympic, Titanic, and Britannic....only the Olympic survived untill the 1930's when she was scrapped for metal. Sad

  • i think they should have save the Olympic

  • yeah...but the greedy capitalists did not value her as we do

  • @david245611

I agree, she would be a nice hotel somewhere in the world in a city!

  • Quando esse filme sera exibido no Brasil

  • Remember We White Star Line R Lying Ass Holes And If Titanic Sank ud Thought That The Others R Well Ur Life

Enjoy Ur Stay On The Britannic

  • fuck u White Star was better than Cunard!

  • iv read that the model used in "raise the titanic!" was used in this film as the Britannic. but as far as i can see the britannic here is CGI

    ?

  • its wierd that titanic and britannic are sisters even thought they werent built in the same year

  • all 3 sister ships were planned and commisioned in 1909. when they were actually built has nothing to do with it

  • Britain and germany still hate each other and they stole our stuff and God save Britain. Amen

  • They didnt actually call this ship unsinkable. They only said it would stay afloat for at least 3 hours. Well, there were still wrong. I mean, it sank in 55 minutes!

  • How did it sank?

  • Open portholes close to the water level. It made the watertight bulkheads pointless since a majority of them filled up anyway.

  • thanks for downloading.

  • You gotta admit, even if the ending scene has bad graphics, this one doesn't.

  • "the future belongs to england"- well, at least she still thinks little of the greeks...

  • stupid people!they call the britanic unsinkable even after the loss of titanic?wow no ship is unsinkable and they should know that espicially after titanic!these ppl are should know better

  • yeah. even ships NOW a days aren't UNsinkable. (i think) probably.
