I get that often on my pc at home, can you still watch youtube videos and play online games?
Cant you just update it if it aint playing vids etc?
It wont be troubling me longer as my new laptop has just arrived (a video on that laptop soon!)

Hi I have the same problem as gemall95 and so I followed your instructions but wen I do it itunes says an unknown error occured and so does not accept the ipod. Could you please help me

staplegun94. I did what you said on this video and it started out perfect, and then it started to do some type of incrypting thing and then my baby locked up on me. What I mean by that is that now all it does is stay on that incryption.BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0
I must have hooked up with an impersinator of the ziphone program. If you can help me at least return my ipod touch to normal I will be so thankful. (ps. I've also tried restarting it several times.)

Hey gemall95,
The best way to get it back to normal (at the cost of losing all media on ipod but you can just sync again) is firstly close itunes and connect the ipod to the pc/mac then, hold the power button and home button until the screen turns black then let go of the power button while still holding the home button until the screen goes to "connect to itunes". bring up itunes ,if it hasnt already, and restore and that should fix it :)
