The other day I ran into someone I used to work with in an office and now she said she just quit her job and went on disability and she was able to work 4 years before. She also can drive a car and bowl and do all these other things. Yet I cannot even walk and have severe arthritis and anxiety and depression and cannot get it here in Oregon. About six months ago a friend went for a dwp job. Two positions available and over 800 people there for interviews.
The local jokecentre booked a university sports hall to hold it.
Times are tight. I defaulted one month on council tax last year due to my hours getting seriously reduced and it being a choice of mortgage, car, or council tax.
The car came off the road and I chose to keep a roof over my head. Three weeks later I got a letter through demanding a full annum council tax paymen

People who claim benefits when they are fit and able to work are out of order, but at the end of the day they are wiser people than tha idiots who toil and sweat in jobs that pay the same amount of money. I mean noone will thank you for being morally upstanding when you're dead and buried. Atleast benefit fraudsters do not waste their lives toiling. Because lets face it, toiling for 70% of your life is a real waste of your time. There are better things you can do with your life i.e. traveling.

Just demonstrates how ignorant people can be. I have an aggressive form of Rheumatoid Arthritis. As with many ailments they vary considerably from day to day. One day you will see me walking to my car without crutches, yet on another day you wont see me at all. Wana know why ? Because some days I cant even get out of my own bed or even make it to the wc due to stiffness & incredible pain. Some days I cant even hold the phone to my head or dress myself, yet other days I can walk around a store !!

Thanks for getting these people that are frauding the system. The other day I ran into someone I used to work with in an office and now she said she just quit her job and went on disability and she was able to work 4 years before. She also can drive a car and bowl and do all these other things. Yet I cannot even walk and have severe arthritis and anxiety and depression and cannot get it here in Oregon. The fraud is rampent here and thanks for posting this video of how bad fraud really is.

Looks can be deceiving..Lets face it no1 can see the inside of the body..I look Normal but the fact is Im very sickly, I have a rare and Fatal Immune system. My kidneys failed and cant walk dwn the street without being out of breath, Im on pain all the time with My bones i use a walking stick but as hard and in pain i am in the Looks i get from People is Harder......They stare at u like ur Alien.....Its Very Uncomfortable, I walk round the supermarket in pain have to take rests but still do it.

There are BILLIONs like them, look in any council estate and you will see countless motability cars dotted around, they are all driven by fat, lazy fakers than have been encouraged NOT to work by the labour gov and parade around in these luxury machines, while buying the best quality foods in the supermarket, courtesy of the tax payers.... One in ten claimants of DLA are genuine according to statistics.

why does the government tax people that work. let us save our money and let us use it when we need to use it. the government makes people that work pay tax and then gives our money to others. if we had no tax we would have no government. our tax is used to pay government employees.
the government is the source of all problems.
if we could save our money we chould choose which schools and hospitals we want. the 'efficient' schools and hospitals will grow and expand.

There are THOUSANDS of disability fraudsters in Britain. The DSS does not check the claims properly, and many welfare workers actively encourage their clients to make these phoney claims. Even drug addicts and alcoholics are classed as "disabled" these days and get Disability Living Allowance, which they just spend on more drink and drugs, whilst people with real illnesses can't even get the medical drugs they need, because the government says they're too expensive.

I have an idiot house mate living upstair of my flat who claims government benefit for years. He is 20 years old, looks healthy. he is not a student, but he doesn't work. what he does daily is playing loud music and PS2. I don't know why the UK government allows such people claiming the unemployment support, meanwhile we need to pay tax for this kind of people. it is really unfair. £20k a year is hardly a few quid, especially if thousands of others do it as well. It is a huge problem and like builderchad said, doesn't matter what age they are, they are still breaking the law and the money should be paid back.
