Hearns was a 180 pound man packed inside 147 pound body. I don't remember seeing a welterweight hitting that hard and that often to make most fighters at that weight. I know that his chin was suspect, but you had to go through some punches in order to get to it. His hook of the jab was very smooth.

Luis Primera hizo lo que tiene que hacer un retador ante cualquier campeón, por más indestructible que parezca: atacar y buscar el maldito título, cueste lo que cueste. Los primeros tres rounds de esta pelea comprueban que Luis fue a pelear sin complejos.

@JRDuque recuerdo esta pelea, Primera no sonaba dentro de los grandes el momento: Duran, Benitez, Leonard, Cuevas ni de cerca, fue una defensa "opcional", para moverse un rato, pero hizo mejor papel que Pipino Cuevas

Hearns was an all time great but Primera was real good too. My props to him for banging it with Hearns, and actually getting a few blows, right up to the end.
