Xbox 360s overheat because they don't have an intake fan; there is not enough airflow created in the case from the exhaust fans alone. It's a pretty good idea if you don't mind your Xbox looking like something out of an 80's sci-fi film. In fact, I might try it, because my 360 is from 2005, and it constantly gets RRoD despite all the fixes I've done, until I use it without the case on. Then it gets adequate air and works fine.

I'm not sure if you have seen inside a XOBX 360 but what you have set up there won't do much good, right behind the bottom grill your pushing air into is a very fine metal grill (reduces a TON of airflow) and even then you have the air duct inside the 360 blocking most of the airs current to the heatsinks.
