A great song for the apocalyptic 70s. Remeber when an earthquake was going to sink California beneath the ocean. The hippies were turing into crazy Children of God, Nixon WAS a crook. Patti Hearst was robbing banks with the SLA. Squeaky Fromme took a shot at Gerry Ford. Everyone was waiting for the Big Thing that never really happened. It's taken me decades to find this song again. The first time I heard it was on FM in the mid seventies, heard it a few more times and thought if was Country Joe and the Fish. What a great song!
