And as an example of a man claiming invisible powers being challenged by skeptics, check out "the human stun gun experiment" on youtube. It appears that his followers are susceptible to his invisible powers because they BELIEVE in him. The skeptical newslady had an entirely different experience.

I think if Eric Pearl is to be scientifically tested, of course they will have to eliminate the confounding variable of psychosomaticism.

Anyway, just my 2 cents worth.

I'm skeptical but open. Would love to have him work on my bum knee. But as for the doctors who are said to have tested Pearl's Reconnective Healing and given him the thumbs up, I'd like to know who they are and what kind of doctors they are. And what about peer reviewed medical journals? Is this accepted by the medical establishment in general, or by some small clique of doctors probably seen by mainstream doctors as being kooks?

Yeah, the A.M.A and its cronies in the drug industry are going to accept this. You don't need to see Eric . As a matter of fact, he generally doesn't do sessions on individuals anymore as he is teaching others how to do it. Seems he will make an exception if a child is involved and right in front of him. Go to his website, hit the practitioner directory and choose one near you and go for one session for a taste (costs 80 to 125 bucks). Buy his book for more info.

I love how skeptics do not realize that they are ignorant.Their criticism comes, not through experience, but through ego.We call people like this, the truly ignorant.How different it would be to say, I have had this treatment or been to a seminar and experienced nothing, rather than blowing lots of hot air based on one's own opinion. dude, I challenge you to buy his book for 15 bucks (or steal it if you don't want him to get one dime from you) , read it and then go for one reconnective session (costs from 80 to 125 bucks depending on the practitioner and his overhead) . Then post your comments . I went for one session and then went for two more for the heck of it. Just returned from his weekend seminar. And it was great . Let the experience speak for itself. I was a new york cab driver for many years, I can detect bullshit.

Hi there. Wouldn't it be funny if cab drivers could have two meters: one for the fare and one for the bullshit? If the bullshit meter starts to rise, the fare meter rises exponentially. If that second meter did indeed exist, I would be an extremely wealthy man. It was an interesting experience driving a cab as many people dropped their veneers of civility and let it all hang out as they (for the most part) rightfully thought they would never see me again. On the other hand, I met some wonderful people (few and far between but that makes them even more special) who left a deep impression upon me with the wisdom they imparted.
