  • I thought I heard once that this trip, on the return leg, took the life of the 7173. Any truth to that?

  • @csxt6573 Yes its true, but it was the trailing unit 7163. We had heard it down there, even before it got to us that 7163 burned up a traction motor. In the last clip, the unit was shut down, and I believe it was the last trip it ever made, and was retired afterwards. Thanks for watching....
