@SuperChuck79 Th old artillery they used to use, the M198, had a crew of 9. This one only needs a crew of 5.

After each round, there is a guy who shoves a long, curved pole into the Howitzer. What exactly is the purpose of it? I don't know much about artillery, and I'd like to know more.
