  • immature idiots

  • this is an ignorant video

  • Hey I don't like Lieberman and understand why people would want to protest his views. But these people have to do it in a way to make them feel good about themselves. This was a much better approach than the MSU at UC Irvine but it is still pretty childish. Why not listen and then ask tough questions during the q and a or why not protest outside?

  • bravo amherst heroes! expose israel's apartheid and brutality.

  • Remember when Israel agreed to a 50/50 split of Israel between Arabs and Jews? Oh no? Perhaps because afterward you guys attacked Israel 3 times over 40 years and declared 2 intifadas in the last 20ish. You pander to world rights organizations and yet you call for the destruction of millions of Jews. You're lucky the world isn't as threatened by you as Israel is

  • I hate to break it down to you guys, but there is nothing can stop Israel. Israel is supported by the most powerful country in the world, the U.S. Also, the AIPAC makes sure that every elected official int he U.S government is pro Israel. Also, AIPAC controls the American foreign policy. The U.S will make sure that if there is a UN resolution that is against Israel, the U.S will veto it. There is nothing, and nobody can stop Israel, and it will wipe Palestine to the point it wont exist anymore

  • *walking in with an "Israel Forever" shirt* Well... looks like I'm in the right place!

  • I love seeing all the different types of people standing up for justice + peace

  • FREE PALESTINE!

    BOYCOTT ISRAEL!

  • @sherhak free israel; educate ant-semites

  • Christians, Jews and Christia where living to gether peacefully untill the Fake Jews from Europe stole it.

  • @TheFabregasHater The Palestinian Muslims were running around Hebron, killing Jews and raping their women in 1929. Is that the "living together peacefully" you're referring to, you jackass?

  • Its interesting that absolute silence is preveling while 600 000 people were starvved to death in Islamic genocide in Darfur,200 000 killed in Islamic genocide in Algeria,250 000 in Lebanon,300 000 in inter-islamic slaughterings in Afghanistan,400 000 in Iraq,100 000 have been hanged in Iran,20 000 missing in Syria,100 000 killed in Ethiopa,100 000 Islamo-murderd in Somalia,500 000 in India,100 000 in pakistan,20 000 in Thailand,20 000 in Cyprus,50 000in Checheniya 1,5 Million in Armenia....

  • 1:50 Judge Richard Goldstone ADMITTED THAT HE LIED AND INVENTED ISRAELI CRIMES IN GAZA IN ORDER TO ATTRACT HIS BOSSES

2:07 UN OWN COMMITTEE FOUND THAT IN JENIN MOST IF NOT ALL OUT OF 47(IT WAS PREVIOSLY REPORTED BY PETRO-DOLLAR MEDIAS THAT 500 MUSLIMS LOST THEIR LIFE IN JENIN) WERE ISLAMIC TERRORISTS AND NOT CIVILIANS

  • I hate to break it down to you guys, but there is nothing can stop Israel. • IDF troops are children killers!!

  • @yopiRIF This is an ignorant statement

    not approriet

  • i love when zionists try to explain they just say 'you dont know anything how the world works'...wow great argument!

  • long live palestine!

  • When are we going to inspect Israel's nuclear arsenal?

  • Long live Palestine.

on another note: less granola bar tactics please... more real action

  • Wow these idiots are falling for simple minded palestinian propaganda. It's hilarious how the Palestinians think they're being oppressed. The Israelis are kind enough to create territories for them. If it were up to me, I would completely unite the territories with the rest of Israel. If the Palestinians want the land, they can live as equals with the rest of Israel, or move to any of the many Islamic states. It's not like there is only one place for a Muslim to live.

  • @GFresa9 wrong place and time to be spouting your bloodthirsty nonsense

  • @slickrickdarula let him. it'll just show their true colours

  • @GFresa9 - I don't know which pains me more,your racism or your ignorance.

  • Wow who do they belive a real solider or that fake arab media crap.

  • THAT IS SO PALESTINIAN

COVER UR MOUTH AND NOT SAY SHIT

    NOT WANT DISCUSS PEADCE

U GUYS AREAND WILL ALWAYS BE A STUPID RACE

  • @IzReal48 lol you are so right..they are a 'stupid race' and you are very intelligent for calling palestinian a race..bravo

  • What the hell are they doing in an American university ?. This is not the West's war, we don't want to become involved in this conflict or to take sides.

  • @holseyd, no its the civilised, open minded, non-ignorant, humanitarian people who support this action not just hamas, either way hamas didn't violate any UN laws, Israel violated over 60, go educate yourself fool ;)

  • look at these retarded leftist useful idiot students. they might as well be a bunch of lemmings going over a cliff. hamas thanks you all for your support.

  • It's awful to see so many uninformed young children. However, seeing that the Jews stood up for Israel and wore their kippot took that anger from me. Also, stop taking these issues as a joke and disrespecting people just because you think it's funny. Arafat wanted the Palestinian state in Jordan, so why not? Nope. Jordanians had to kill 20,000 Palestinians because they had a DESIRE to have a state in Jordan. Ofcourse you kids won't know this, you don't read. Search Black September in Jordan.

  • I visited a Palistinian Liquer store and I talked to the owner and I he said I know it is unusual because they can't drink booze... But it is a living... His store was burned down by Hamas supporters... He just rebuilds he said.. they made their own beer was pretty good not as good as Molsons Canadien but it was still good...

  • They are free ... I played soccer with kids I went observed ... Funny thing... They have no street signs ... I asked why ... Oh Hamas uses them for mortars...

  • These people don't know what they are protesting about... I mean why would socialists care other than pushing an alternative agenda.... I have been to Gaza and the west Bank and while I was there I sat at a Cafe and spoke with civilians who are more levelheaded than these fucks they spoke of pease with Israel ....

  • Sorry to break it to the people who made the whole song "free, free Palestine"...Palestine isn't a place

  • A comment about the description:

Hatred against Arabs IS anti-semitism. European/Russian jews decendant of Kasars ARE NOT semitic.

  • israeli propaganda is not freedom of speech

  • To allow these terrorists to set foot on college campuses is reprehensible. The idiot telling them to leave because they didn't know anything about the world would be laughable, if it weren't so sad...

  • I used to think what the IDF is doing is not right. However, after I saw the jihad mickey and bigot bunny from the palestinian tv show, i understand why the IDF did what they did.

  • why the hell someone would care what a bunch of communists think?

  • and who is the speaker @ 2:49 to tell these people they dont know much about what is going on in Palestine??!! People can't think? can't learn? can't read?

  • i watched the video of protesting IDF @ U of Michigan October 2010 .. and that soldier talked about surfing.. it's their script to come to the colleges and talk about what they suppose is a beloved sport of young people so they can assimilate themselves.. how disgusting is the IDF!

  • You are the starts of the USA. Youth in Arab world started the change and I am sure the youth of the USA will change things soon.

  • I Arabic there is no letter P so in Arabic you must say Balestinians. This is because its not an Arabic name. Usually nations gives names to themselves such as French or the British, but when you invent a nation is some kind of convention in Egypt between Arafat and Natzer in 1964, you can choose as you like, even if those so called Palestinians cannot pronounce it right.

Trivia: Did Arab countries used the name "Palestinians" to describe Arabs in Palestine in 1948?

  • 16 dislikes from the students who did not leave the room.

  • Good job, never stop! Solidarity!

  • Dig the soil of "Palestine"What you will find articles in Arabic? Hebrew, Aramaic, synagogues and not mosques!

  • What you would do if for 3000 years were chasing you kicked you from your house, kill 6 million of you and at the end you could go back to your land but someone else took it. The real occupiers are "poor Palestinians" that the whole world feel sorry for them. Read some history books and you will understand who is right! There is no Palestine and was Fiction of the Arab world! Understand that!

  • Israel defends itself after she suffered from wars and murderous attacks in the streets of its cities. The Arabs did not explode because of "Palestine"They exploded in the name the extermination of the Jewish people and their desire to make Jews and Israelis to fear and leave. the matter "Palestine" is just an "Humanity" excuse for them to the world to get everyone be on the side of the Arabs.

  • All the fools yell "apartheid" without knowing what it "apartheid". Would you ever been in Israel? Know all the story about "Palestine"? Did you know that there was no such thing as "Palestine"??? World mix many things together and creates a story about "occupied Palestine" but the real motives is: hatred of Jews, hatred of Israel, to lick the Arab world, racism, antisemitism, and just be against something called Israel (because everyone already hates something so why I do not hate the )

  • I can not believe how stupid and uneducated children brainwashed in the U.S. universities have. Half of them Arabs and Muslims and others Anthracite that will sell their mother to find whatsoever purpose of their poor life.

  • ISRAHELL KARMA IS COMING GO IRAN SYRIA HEZBOLLAH HAMAS TURKEY EGYPTE JORDAN RUSSIA CHINA NORTH KOREA !!!!! THE END OF ISRAHELL

ITS TIME TO PAY ISRAHELL PIG'S OF HELL THE SYNAGOGUE OF SATAN INTIFADA#3 IS COMING FAST YOU DONT FEEL IT ????? ALLAHU AKBAR FROM CANADA MONTRÉAL

  • Funny how everytime you try to post a link to the BDS site you get the "Error, try again" message. The Israelis don't want the truth out.

  • The whole room was empty when those interested in justice left!

  • Gaza is a place full of Hate ,Intolerance, and Prejudice ..They hate all you Americans and would love to kill you all !!A

  • IN SOLIDARITY!!!!

From the University of WESTERN ONTARIO, London ON, CANADA!

  • @BateBoccaccio

Excellent work at UWO! your turnout was incredible. we met Sgt. Anthony down here at Hampshire - keep an eye out for the video soon!

  • Good job guys.

  • O hey it's a bunch of privileged yuppies who have never shed blood sweat or tears, or actually FOUGHT, for anything in their entire lives protesting a badass jew.

You go to school at amherst. Go get laid or some shit. If you're allowing the israel vs palestine problem to become this big of an issue in your life while you attend that school in CENTRAL MASSACHUSETTS you are a fucking lame salad.

  • Yeah!!Free Palestine.

  • i wonder what these liberal students think of the Palestinian groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad? How come they don't denounce both violence instead of one. It makes them look biased.

  • FREE PALESTINE from the university of WESTERN ONTARIO, London ON, CANADA

    IN SOLIDARITY

UWO,, watch our video UWO idf protest

  • @teentards ... That's exactly why they're protesting, your obviously an asshole and don't understand that killing innocent people is wrong. Oh well, when the day of judgement comes, you will all pay.

  • Great work gang! An AWESOME ACTION and it was a beautiful thing!!!

  • Comment removed

  • You guys should be proud of what you stood for that day and continue to stand for!!! We are so proud of you for standing up for human rights for people in Palestine!

  • @palestgirl84 fuck palestine, fakestine never existed, and i hope israerl kills all of those palestenian cockroaches in the miiddle east.

  • Israel's Hypocrisy

Israel crossed a WORDWIDE blockade on APARTHEID South Africa to give it WEAPONS/TORTURE Equipment but complains when the WORLD wants to give FOOD/MEDICAL aid to impoverished Gazans?

Israel caused murder, destruction of property, kidnapping and destruction and with-holding of evidence.

And Israel is saying it was an act of self-defense?

    Am I missing something here?

And US gives NA tionalistic ZI onists money why?

  • this is alot like the u of m protest did u guys get the idea from them?

  • Please answer this: Where are these protesters on issues like the take-over/occupation of Kosovo, Anatolia, northern Cyprus, Chechnya, Sudan, Somalia, northern Nigeria, Lebanon, Pakistan, Kashmir, Timor, Egypt, etc. (guess who the perpetrators are?) These are ongoing conflicts! A truly backwards religion and 'progressive' fruits seem odd bedfellows no?

  • @kimonov

Did you just list a whole heap of random mostly Muslim countries? :S

Anyway, re: Timor, there were protests here in Australia when Indonesian government officials come to speak at university campuses.

(and still are because of West Papua)

re: northern Cyprus, no-one from Northern Cyprus actually visits Western universities.

  • @zsomborization

I did name a bunch of random muslim countries, that happened to be christian, local tribal and hindu before being conquered/occupied by the hordes. The only reason israel is an issue moreso than the others is because islam lost this land (and they want it back) and that the koran commands destruction of the jews, full stop.what does this have to do with u ppl? Israel accepted refugees from muslim oppression in sudan, why doesn't jordan/egypt/saudi take in palestinians?

  • Palestine is for Muslims, Christians and Jews.. They were living peacefully together before the jews of Europe came and occupied Palestine by force. It is that simple. Whoever is saying that this act is anti-semitic, well i tell them: if the Semitic values allows you to kill children of Gaza and steal land from others and commit massacres to defend your right of occupation .. then i am A PROUD ANTI-SEMTIC CZ this is insane!

I wish i was in the states to help you out HEROES!! GOD BLESS YOU!

  • @aa

Common dont lie here you Muslim piece of shit.I know that Muhammad the sick mass killer and child molester commanded you to make taqiyya(lieng for Jihad) You Muslims are the worst criminals in human history killing 35 nations(currently) in all those Islamic genocides and crimes you commit There was never a nation or people called Palestine, and when you Muslim Arabs invented this hellenized Hebrew name for yourselfs after 1948 you commited more than 1500 massacres against natives

  • what ignorance and lack of basic decency. Whoever took part in this 'protest' should be ashamed of themselves.

  • @WMassPalestine

"I will absolutely not tolerate racist comments in here."

I would hope that as a group of people aiming for social justice and peace, you would address this side of "racism" as well.

  • If you a supporter of the Palestinian people, which from you comments it seems that you are, you should be aware of what being "anti-semitic" actually means. (i.e. not stopping the Jew from behaving like their mentor Adolf Hitler). There are so many other things wrong with the post but it is beneath me to try and address them all. Instead I am going to pray for your angry, hateful, ignorant soul.

  • @theagent9

Firstly, a definition of the word "Semite" from the Merriam- Webster Dictionary:

1: a member of any of a number of peoples of ancient southwestern Asia including the Akkadians, Phoenicians, Hebrews, and Arabs

    b : a descendant of these peoples

2: a member of a modern people speaking a Semitic language

  • @theagent9

I decided to stop posting on this video because it is not the appropriate place to have this type of discussion but your hateful, disgusting, incorrect remarks have compelled me to respond.

  • @mudpuppysd I will absolutely not tolerate racist comments in here.

  • @WMassPalestine Was that racist? Perhaps, but the point is that you would not have the freedom to protest like that in the majority of arab communities. Also disrupting a student meeting by refusing to discuss the issue with tape on your mouths is the same non-discussion strategy used by the most racist and bigoted groups in America. Next time see if the Amherst Neo-Nazi group will join you. I'm sure you have a lot in common.

  • @WMassPalestine Actually I'm surprised you tolerate any comments in here at all that do not fit exactly into your antisemitic propaganda.

  • Please visit SJPalestine . com

  • @theagent9 The Jew? This is the kind of hateful Anti-Semitism that is really behind the ignorant and rude actions of this fringe minority group... The so called "wmp" is a violent hate group similar to the KKK.

  • @mudpuppysd Regardless of your claims to Israel - which are largely built on the justification of the Old Testament - you cannot justify Israel's current stance towards the Palestinians. Gaza is a collective form of punishment against the Palestinian people, both confirmed by the Goldstone report, and in violation of UN international law which states that collective punishment is a crime against humanity. Israel has nuclear weapons, it will always exist. As for the Palestinians, well...

  • @jimmypopalot The USSR had nuclear weapons. I'm sure in your scatterbrained understanding of geopolitics the USSR still exists. You guys are the blind leading the blind. Educate yourselves for Christs sake (or for allahs or whatever false prophet you worship)

  • CONGRATULATIONS TO A L L OF YOU! YOU ARE AMAZING! GREETINGS FROM UK!!!

  • The guy got shot and he lost something meaningful to him. He shouldn't be mocked over that, as if somehow Palestinians suffer more when they get the same treatment. It's also wrong when Palestinians attack innocents. To think otherwise is anti-human.

    _

If I want anti-human behavior I'll read more into the theories of Austrian economics.

  • @successfulbuild These idiots are so full of hate. They blame "The Jew" for everything bad in the world from arabs crashing airplanes into buildings to arabs smuggling explosives in their underwear to arabs randomly shooting at innocent American soldiers stationed right here in America. If an arab does it, they will blame "The Jew" because arab brains don't work like a normal persons, they are too clouded by an irrational hatred of their superiors.

  • Why is a jew or ashkenaz heading this up?! People you really need to learn their exploiting the current situation. Why are you going to believe or allow a jew to participate when they've collectively drained the globe dry. Doesn't make sense.

  • People don't realize the Imperialism that has raped the world for generations from Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Hitler to Bin Laden etc. has been orchestrated by those who now control Israel. Before israel they would simply be called jews. Not all by far too many. If 100 out of 1 million are bad, it matters if those 100 ran everything. 90% of everything important is run by these genocidal maniacs & we have to stop being afraid of being called anti-semitic. Its just a word used inaccurately

  • which group at umass is this? i'd like to join.

  • @demahakim western mass coalition for palestine

  • Awesome.

  • BEAUTIFUL!!

Thnx for standing up to injustice.

  • I don't support Israel but this is stupid. Why not just have your own meetings and outreach programs instead of disrupting other people's.

  • @successfulbuild Theyre making a point, stupid.

  • @successfulbuild Because they are immature spoiled trust fund brats. They're going in the right direction with the tape on their mouths though. If only there were a way to make it permanent.

  • @successfulbuild - It's about demonstrating that what Israel is doing is unacceptable.

Silence on the subject is taken as tacit assent,if not complicity.

  • way to go

  • israel is a nuclear state

    israel is a terrorist state

    israel is a pirate state

    israel is an apartheid state

    israel is an illegal state

israel is not the US' ally, it's the BOSS

israel is not a democracy it's a racial colony

the UN itself said zionism is racism

  • I love you guys. What humanity. What courage for the truth. Brilliant humans.

  • Love it! Israel can no longer hide behind their walls of LIES!

  • Great job folks. Really proud.

I find it disgusting that college groups sponsored this presentation (I really question their allegience to America - they are seemly more interested in welfare of Israel and the desimination of its propaganda.) Seeing Israeli and minion lecturers deficating poison on the minds of Americans is deeply distrubing. We must stop these warmongering facists/racists - the US can longer afford (literally) further blood and dollars on behalf of Israel.

  • beautiful job.

    in solidarity.

  • the zionists are digging their own grave. who else to blame but THEMSELVES...

  • Oh poor IDF soldier wont be able to play basket ball anymore. Too fucking bad. How about all the kids who will never breathe again. Good job people lets show those arrogant fucks how the world really works.

  • Excellent video, great protest action, very well organized, a model for other groups. In solidarity!

  • Well done. You couldn't have played it any better. Interesting how, even though you had already sat and listened, the guy wanting to take control of the situation asked you to talk in order that you learn more about "how the world works".

  • So proud of you guys! Great video too! Well done everyone!

  • Sucks that other countries are doing more to help Palestinians than Arab countries are. -.-

  • I think this is an inappropriate forum to discuss these issues.

If someone is interested in setting up a dialogue- not a debate- let me know.

  • Props to you guys!!! :)

  • the window while Britain maintained an outwardly control over the area, allowing Jewish settlers to take over the land and begin forming the structure of a governing body. Once British forces left Palestine, the rest is history. And, it would help if you knew the history.

  • @WMassPalestine Interesting how history starts for you in 1917. Believe it or not the world is older than that (I know that might be a shock.) Keep ignoring the truth you ISO morons.

  • @WMassPalestine Well said

  • intermediate French and British occupying powers gained independence in the 1930's, namely Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Iraq.

By 1946, the rest became independent -- Transjordan, Syria, and Lebanon. What is left over is the history of Palestine. British forces denied any representation of the indigenous people in Palestine while giving full autonomy to begin creating an internal Jewish para-state within Palestine. The illusion that there would be any sort of Arab self-determination went out

  • Arab world in relation to Palestine.

It is clear that Palestine is a different case all together when looking at the carving up of the Middle East. Beginning in 1917, it was clear that Palestine was destined to be cleansed and assert itself as the new Jewish state. The British architects, in accordance with early Zionists, excluded Arab self-determination while facilitating the same end for a Jewish minority. In contrast, the para-states which were created in the Middle East by

  • a hard time in the world. This use of Zionist rhetoric of an eternally oppressed people as a justification for the conquest of land is disgusting and utterly shameful. History provides the evidence that the Zionist project took off long before the Nakba in 1948. In fact, Rashid Khalidi writes very honestly about providing this information in The Iron Cage. With the support of British and French colonization during the early 1900's, one must put this into context when attempting to criticize the

  • @neelburt - I find it alarming that you are choosing to publicly state incorrect historical facts as evidence that Arabs are somehow less than the Jews of Israel. Not only are you furthering the racist Orientalism which is the underpinning of the state of Israel and their colonization project, but you are also using the tired old rhetoric that Israel should have the right to be left alone -- that the state of Israel is somehow free from criticism because the Jews have had such

  • @MsNathaliaJones

Regardless of what you believe, it is absurd to put all the blame on Israel, the tiny, single Jewish state in the world, constantly defending herself, and not on the 21 surrounding Arab countries who have done nothing to help their brothers and sisters suffering under the control of Hammas and other terrorist rulers.

  • @neelburt The physical size of Israel is not an issue. Britain is tiny but it once controlled the world. The issue is the constant violation by Israel of international law. From what you wrote, I take it that it is your opinion that Israel should comply with international law if - and only if - the states surrounding it do something to protect their "brothers and sisters"?

    Hamas was freely elected.

It is the duty of all states to uphold international law because it is the right thing to do.

  • @MsNathaliaJones

There is no choice to be made if you do not believe that Israel's existence and right to self defense is unjust. You seem to focus on a very minute point in @rothschildofericas remarks, such as the expulsion of Jews from Europe during the Holocaust, but you have conveniently ignored her point about the lack of aid from other Arab countries, and the fact that Palestinians were expelled from the plethora of surrounding Arab countries.

  • Are you going to continue to passively accept injustice - no point in spelling out why Israeli apartheid is injust, if you can't figure it out on your own - or are you going to make the hard choice, and align yourself with the struggle against Israeli apartheid - which, sorry to break it to ya, doesn't get 3 billion dollars of military aid a year. The question is essentially, how will you be remembered? As someone who renounced their privilege to stand against injustice? Or as another Eichmann?

  • @Aimared924

So despite your disgusting sarcastic tone ('you pathetic scumbag') Jews actually have been kicked out of their homes since they were originally kicked out of Israel. Now, unlike the Palestinians, they didn't have multiple Arab countries they could turn to for citizenship, housing or even help. Its a shame all the Arab countries HATE the Palestinian people and have done nothing to help them out & only further exacerbate their sufferings.

Jews have been kicked out and had nowhere to go

  • @rothschildoferica

If you are actually invested in taking an active stand against the forces that facilitated the Shoah, rather than spuriously evoking the history of European Jewry in order to justify the multi-billion dollar state sanctioned ethnic cleansing of Palestine (not a state, does not have a multibillion dollar army, etc.), you must now make a choice:

  • @Aimared924

I think neelburt's last point is particularly important- Jews have been getting kicked our of their homes since 722 BCE. This has occurred in almost every generation- most known are the expulsion from Spain in the 1492 and virtually all of Europe during WWII, specifically 1941 and onwards. The only reason the Jews needed a state was because in every place they have ever lived they have been discriminated against, harassed, killed, or expelled.

  • @Aimared924

Jews have been physically displaced from their homelands many, many times. But you may have blocked that part out of history to further emphasize your point.

  • @Aimared924

I'm very curious to know out of those 50 or so protesters, only a handful of whom were visibly Muslim, how many have actually been to Israel/Palestine and witnessed what is happening, or simply protest other University's events because they believe what an aggressive, manipulative group on their campus tells them.

  • @Aimared924 And until you are in that land, actually making a difference, you are going to have to deal with that. If for nothing else, have a dialog to educate others as to what is going on, but you all seem so afraid to talk about things. Because as college students in the tiny town of Amherst, it saddens me to think that your probably private school education funded by your parents is not teaching you how to interact with people who may disagree with something you've learned.

  • @Aimared924

The truth of the matter is, we are all Americans currently living in America and most of us are going to college. So unless you are planning on going to Israel/Palestine to physically help the people in need, learn about whats going on, or become a victim of this terror as you choose to call it, you are thousands of miles away on a campus or in a town with other people who may have a different side of whats going on to share with you.

  • Their ignorance doesn't surprise me, and neither does their manipulation of words. After all, honestly knowing and presenting both sides of the story takes away from the false points they constantly try to make. The part that bothers me the most is their lack of respect. They claim to be peace loving people, but they are simply disrespectful and filled with hatred. They spend their time protesting, but never actually engaging in anything that involves inter-belief dialog or advancement.

  • @neelburt

    inter-belief dialoguemy balls

i just wanna hear you saying that after being displaced from your country

or after losing your entire family (killed by a bunch of crazy jews supported by all federal budget)

    you pathetic scumbag

  • That being said, Student Alliance for Israel is a student group comprised on many diverse opinions on Israel, and our only position as a unified group is that Israel has the right to exist and she has the right to defend herself. We hope this speaker will portray one perspective for all of our constituents to hear and further illustrate the complexity of the conflict.

Way to manipulate, guys! Keep up the good work!

  • @rothschildoferica

To quote an Israeli who broke his silence: And when silence had closed in on everything and no man disturbed the stillness, which yearned noiselessly for what was beyond stillness – then God would come forth and descend to roam the valley, and see whether all was according to the cry that had reached him.

  • @rothschildoferica

Our silence at your event mimicked your silent endorsement of the brutalization and oppression of the Palestinian people. But there is a difference between your silence and ours: while you hope your silence may be undisturbed, that you might forget the feeling of witnessing injustice and saying nothing, our silence ROARS, our silence demands to be heard, to be noticed, that we might never forget what justice means, that it might be returned to us.

  • @rothschildoferica

Whatever you do, don’t talk about anything that might actually hurt your own identity as a righteous person.

  • @rothschildoferica

WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT MENTION THE OCCUPATION, DO NOT MENTION THE MASSACRE OF OVER 1400 PALESTINIANS WITHIN THE TIME SPAN OF A FEW WEEKS, DO NOT MENTION THE FACT THAT ISRAEL GETS 3 BILLION DOLLARS OF MILITARY AID FROM THE US ANNUALY, DO NOT MENTION DEIR YASSIN, DO NOT MENTION THE SAMOUNI’S, DO NOT MENTION THAT TODAY TWO PALESTINIAN HOMES WERE DESTROYED FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN TO CRUSH THEIR SOULS AND LIVELIHOODS.

  • @rothschildoferica

    4. REFUSE

Or rather, don’t. In fact, go above and beyond the average duty of an Israeli citizen participate in oppression and apartheid, and migrate to Israel so that you too can get in on the action.

    3. OMIT

Defined: leave out or exclude either intentionally or forgetfully.

  • @rothschildoferica

THREE: Emphasize the “personal” nature of the event. Place Kenny’s basketball career in a position of greater importance than any of the occupation or assault related operations he participated in, just to make sure he doesn’t accidentally mention that his Brigade has T-Shirts printed for them proudly depicting Israeli soldiers raping Palestinian women.

  • @rothschildoferica

ONE. Suggest that Kenny Sachs survived a "terror attack" INSIDE OF GAZA, thus reversing Sachs' role as aggressive occupier in Gaza into one of passive victim. Overlook the fact that an attack on a member of an occupying military power is entirely legitimate under the Geneva Conventions (which Israel and the US consistently violate anyways).

TWO. Call Kenny Sachs an "immigrant," thereby innocenting the colonial act of moving to Israel from the US in order to serve in the IDF.

  • @rothschildoferica

    2. MANIPULATE

Defined: control or influence (a person or situation) cleverly, unfairly, or unscrupulously

Lets consider the title of the event for this one: "Overcoming Terror - A True Story"- A true and very personal story of an American immigrant who joins the army and is injured in a terror attack in Gaza which serving in the IDF."

  • @rothschildoferica When we refuse to allow you to control the terms of “dialogue” you patronizingly established before the talk began, fall back on your privilege as a white man and call the police, who will surely enforce your superiority.

  • @rothschildoferica

By patronizing the demonstration you know to be happening in your event, you establish an unstated position of intellectual, moral, and institutional superiority. This gives you the ability to defame an action which calls attention to the outrageous violations of the IDF (we were wearing the names of the 352 CHILDREN killed in Operation Cast Lead, in case you missed it) as childish, irrational, ignorant, mislead, without calling into question your own ethical position.

  • @rothschildoferica

    1. PATRONIZE (what I just did, in case you missed it)

Defined: Treat with an apparent kindness that betrays a feeling of superiority

  • @rothschildoferica I’ll help you to do this by walking you through the political tools available to you the next time you have an event, using this one as an example:

  • Differences are good, and it is important to keep our emotions in check so that we can begin to hear each other. If we lose the ability to listen, we are losing any chance of cooperation and peace for the future. As passionate college students, hopefully we embody the maturity needed to examine multiple sides of issues even if you don’t agree.

  • As this is a sensitive issue, and Sgt Sachs is recounting his personal experience of that summer, I ask the crowd to respect our speaker as we would any human being. UMass SAFI takes pride being on a campus where diverse opinions coexist we can discuss controversial issues in a respectful manner. The politics surrounding Israel are complex, controversial and generally full of people passionately arguing it’s many layers.

  • Too often have I reached out to set up a constructive dialogue and the response I received then and as is illustrated in this clip is- tape on the mouth- NO. It's a shame no one protesting is actually trying to take measures to work towards peace.

Here is the context of my opening speech:

  • @rothschildoferica

Listen mate. As you yourself said, Palestine is a complex, "sensitive" issue. So perhaps rather than making utterly disingenuous claims that an event inviting an IDF spokesperson who represents two active Zionist propaganda orgs constitutes an opportunity for "dialogue" and "examining multiple sides of issues," you might actually take the time to more COMPLEXLY consider the political tools you accuse us of employing, such as manipulation, refusal, and omission.

  • I love how the content of my speech was focused on working towards peace and that was all cut out just to show that a black and white perspective of "I think it's ok that the Palestinians have lost so much land". Multiple speakers brought up the method of dialogue as a means of actually working toward something constructive. measures to work towards peace.

  • "We will get our homeland back someday, It will never be yours israel, NEVER!"

That statement sums up the ignorance and hatred spread by these spoiled trust fund children. I have met some of them and they honestly believe that Darfur is not a genocide but Gaza is. This is despite the fact that the Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters estimates around 300,000 deaths in Darfur can be directly attributed to the ongoing genocide.

  • @mudpuppysd I'm in the ISO and Darfur is definitely a genocide. Maybe you should check your facts before attacking a group who's stance you know nothing about. Furthermore this was an action done by the Western Mass Coalition for Palestine, of which MANY groups are members, not just the ISO...

  • These children call themselves socialists and attack other school organizations under the banner of Russian Socialism. They believe Lenin was the greatest man who ever lived and his murderous policies were completely justified. You really can't argue with stupidity of this nature. Someone please send these morons a history book, or at lease knock them in the head with one.

  • ...."and not be interesting in learning anything else about how the world works". To the speaker of these ignorant words, the world does not operate by murdering innocent civilians and imposing an apartheid against the people of Palestine. My suggest is for YOU to be civil and learn how the world works.

    Peace and Support from ASU!

  • great job! ignorant and supportive of hamas. th green helmet guy is proud of you.

  • The student of University of Massachusetts got to their point without saying anything to this scum bag, good job.

  • Israeli apartheid WILL come to an end, and I hope to live to see the day it does. Props to the organizers and participants of this silent protest- why waste your time trying to out-shout ignorant Zionists? Any group that brings in an IDF vet who served in Gaza during Cast Lead and attempts to paint them as the victim is seriously, seriously, misinformed. No lackey of Israeli occupation or war crimes is welcome in my town. Refusniks or dissenting vets on the other hand, are welcome any time.

  • we've learned that creative protest is a much more powerful and challenging way to lay zionist's politics bare than trying to debate them. that day, we chose to be silent, in symbolic solidarity with palestinians everywhere, and let the zionists feel our presence.

a specter is haunting israel and its apologists everywhere--the specter of student revolt and growing intolerance to the violence it perpetuates.

    falasteen hurra!

  • AMAZING! <3 SO GLAD THAT OUR EVENT AT U OF M ANN ARBOR HAS INSPIRED STUDENTS ALL OVER THE U.S.! FREE PALESTINE!!!!!!!!!
