I dropped by Tae Kim's about a month ago. I was reading the guide and I was just finishing the "basic grammar" chapter. I was beginning to wonder why did they ask me to memorize 20 kanji 15 vocabulary words or so every 3 pages (not that I was complaining, either), and why things like the numbers were so far down the chapters. Then I realized I was reading the "Grammar Guide", and that the guide with saner standards for rookies was elsewhere in the site. FML. Oh this is Youtube. FMYTA.

Have you ever been to live mocha? This is the best language thing online for learning ANY language. It's like that Rosetta Stone thing for free, and it has a community, so it's better! I swear this site almost teaches you Japanese from start to finish. I've been using it for a while and it is incrediable. But be warned, this site will only teach you how to speak the language, not write it. I use My Japanese Coach to learn how to write it. It is a DS game and you can find it cheap on amazon.

Wah! I entered Lang-8 and I set up my profile and made my first entry. I started to get excited (well, what every you would call that feeling...) when I saw someone corrected me. @Terrapinfan2007 well I am spanish and I don´t think he is XD not like it is important at all if he is or not XD but the way he talks, the accent is not the one a spanish speaker would have -even when speaking english- and he doesn´t look like your "typical" spanish guy ^^ to me, he looks asian for the most part (there are tons of asian people in Spain, though XD)

Is there a website learning source that only teach japanese in form of Romanji (japanese in roman letters). I think it's easier for english speaker to learn that way. I think Asian symbol strokes are not as important as knowing how to speak.

I have a question: When I tried to join the iKnow website, a page came up saying:

Then it gave me a choice to either continue (not recommended) or leave the webpage.

Should I continue? I have Norton, and it also gives the option of signing in w/ my Google account, what do I do?
