Nordstrom installed a HYDRAULIC!? They are getting cheap. I thought for SURE that this was a 400A! Oh well, hydraulic = more reliable.

You don't have to buy anything because you might be there just to shop and maybe decided that you didn't want anything. There is no law saying "You better buy something, or you stay out of the store." because it would be unconstitutional.

Nice elevator. I've been in quite a few Schindler elevators here in the UK. It's a common assumption that people make that the door close buttons do not work in them, but I found you have to hold them down for 2-3 seconds for the doors to close. Some KONE ones work the same too.

L.L. Bean will have a Schindler. There was a Schindler van outside the store a few days ago.

I also told him that this nordstrom would have schindler, and he said that it would be otis or kone, so people should listen to me when i say what i think the brand will be at places because 99.999% of the time, i am right!

I was actually at the store at 10AM when the door opened...I thought this elevator was pretty decent, the trim goes along with the store quite nicely. It seemed smoother than some newer Schnidlers I've been in (the one at Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry is a little rough).

no there was no Boscovs ever at this mall this replaced the old macys that was 2 floors with an otis elevator macys moved to the 3 story place wich was Kaufmanns so this was vacant so Nordstrom bough this place

Interesting to find standard HT hall fixtures, and vandal ressistant in-car fixtures. Also, L.L. Been will have Schindler, OTIS, or ThyssenKrupp, because I have seen some with those 3 brands, although I guarentee it will be hydraulic

I have to wait until March 27 for a new Nordstrom to open, but, there are already 5 Nordstrom Stores in my area, and even more a few Nordstrom Rack stores as well. The Store that is opening March 27 is Cherry Hill Mall(NJ), which is 99.51 miles from my house, and it will possibly be 3 floors, but I think it will be 2. Anyway, I have sent an E-mail to PREIT asking them if the Nordstrom will be 2 or 3 floors, but I hope it's 3, so it will have a KONE EcoSpace instead of a Schindler 330A

yes, but you people up there already had Nordstrom since 1999 at Providence Place, Patrick's area has never had a nordstrom until now, which is very surprising, but I am sure that this store will do well!
