If you go to an emergency room they require you to divulge your finances and if you have none they are required to stabilize you then release you. Emergency room costs reflect the unpaid bills. There is no existing program to compensate hospitals for unpaid bills. Pelosi is of course a liar. If you go to an emergency room they require you to divulge your finances and if you have none they are required to stabilize you then release you. Emergency room costs reflect the unpaid bills. That is one reason costs are so high. Pelosi is using governments own CHOICE to provide illegals complete health care via emergency room visits as an excuse to force U.S. residents to pay for them!

If it was a fine then you would have legal recorse and could fight it in a courtroom. A tax however removes this option. Also the jail time for failing to pay your taxes is qutie severe. She says everyone is paying the price for those that choose to be uninsured but I can tell you that is not true as I have never had insurance or needed a medical visit in my adult life so not EVERYONE is paying the price for the uninsured.
