Went bankrupt in 1982, after missing the boat on Star Wars to Kenner, then scrambling to catch the next success with subsequent movies that never stacked up.
Man, this brings back memories! The Klingon action figure looked the most like Captain Koloth from the ep, "The Trouble With Tribbles." They also had an Uhura figure, but no Sulu or Chekov.
I can't believe seeingt this old commercial. I had all of the star trek action figures along withthe space ship. The space ship was cool because it had the magical transporter that really made them disappear (to the other side of ship).
What happed to Mego?

I love these figures! Such an amazing amount of detail, considering what they had to work with when they were made.

I wish I still had it as a collectors item.

You can get a new one-a company's making new Mego-like Star Trek action figures, and even a new version of the bridge set.

The ones used in the 2.0 clips were by Playmates Toys from their mid-90s collection.

I think these are the figures used in the Star Trek 2.0 ads. Funny.
Bones was not the character's name, and "Scottie" is a girl's name, the character's nickname was "Scotty."

Man, those were the COOLEST!!!
My granparents got me those in the summer of 1975, along with the Enterprise (no bloody A, B, C, or D) Bridge playset!!
I had all of them - Kirk, Bones, Spock, Scotty, and a Klingon Bastard (hey, they KILLED Kirk's son!).
