  • lol three horns are racist

  • Audio's out of sync

  • at least it's better than Rock a Doodle

  • This rivals Simba's father's death in TLK. both way too tragic and unpretictable (for the child especially, like they just turly believe their parents can't die and probably don't even really comprehend teh concept of death well enough yet.) I think however Simba's loss was much more tragic, it was more traumatic in the hole getting/taking the blame and he never got the chance to say goodbye or anything like this. All in all TLK and this are one of those cartoons you just have to see in thetre..

  • I don't think you can compare the two. They're completely different despite similarities. I'll watch The Land Before Time any day over The Lion King.

  • 7:35 OMFG ROFLMAO!! xDDD

  • I cried like a bitch at the end of this scene...

  • this movie is a great example of a group of kids overcoming the racial segragration of the types of dinos, i used it as an example in a speech, i showed the movie

  • yeah it does seem like that

  • i hate this part when little's foot mother dies at this scene i always cry at this scene

  • omg i never cry at films but that one made me shed 1 tear :'( but im ok now :D i dont stay sad for long

  • Defining film of my childhood. It is unmatched by modern rubbish. The charming artistry and musical score brings strong memories back. This is not just a film, it is a part of my childhood. Disney Dinosaur was a similar film, as far a the plot goes, and that continued my love of Dinosaurs, and of all Prehistory. Hence the name, The Palaeontologist, as that is what I shall become.

  • good for you. i've never seen this film before but i've always wanted to. and yeah dinosaur's good too

  • damn three-horns are racist lol

  • what the! 5:51

  • It really made me cry

  • "three horns never play with long necks" that is total racism lmao

  • was anybody else bawling their eyes out when Littlefoot's mom dies at the end?? I want to know I'm not the only one...

  • your not. =(

  • dont worry. im one of them too and so were all my friends who saw this as kids too.

  • What's the matter with you?!

  • Well it could be my sadism or it could be my mental retardation.....or both.

  • I was too dont worry

  • I can't believe Littlefoot was going to engage in a head-butting contest with a Triceratops... how dumb.

It annoys me that he never uses that damn tail of his.

  • .. Its a movie?

  • fuck you bitch. Some of us actually had a great childhood.

  • Now I know what happened to little foot's mother.

"Some things you see with your eyes. Others you see with you heart."

    No truer words were spoken!

I don't need to see Jesus get crucified on Good Friday to know that it really happened. :)

  • i hate this part when she dies

  • It makes me more sad now than when I was a kid when she dies...

  • I'm a grown woman now, i need to stop crying when she dies!

  • so sad! i hate how little foots momdiedthough :(

  • littlefoot is twice egg size

  • epic battle lol when i was little i use to think the earthquake was because of the fight haha

  • me too

  • this is one of the best animated fight ever littlefoot's mom is so powerful she was owning that sharptoth to bad she died though, and that sharptooth was the best and most realistic sharptooth out of all the land before time movies

  • cerras dad is a dick

  • I know! and so racist

    tsk tsk tsk

  • Cerra's dad is a douche

  • Cera herself is a douche.

  • so are you.

  • yes you can. get up. its horrible when you know the story line. :'{

  • T_T

  • Who was roaring at 5:45? The mom or the Sharptooth? They both had their mouths open.

  • Did you know that T-Rex can't see you if you are not moving? He only sees your move, not you....

  • how do u know O_O

  • I read that in one book...

  • Yes I learned that too from Jurassic Park! <3 one of the greatest films ever made!

  • Haha... I watched that movie also and I really like it.. I watched only the 1. part on TV... Van I watch the other parts anywhere on internet to watch free? Thanks

  • Van = Can

  • every time littlefoot sees his mom die i cry so hard. i cant help it. ever since i was a child it hurt my heart and now that im 23 i still cry

  • 'yes you can get up' that part breaks my heart :(

  • aww this is so cute but sad when she dies

  • i don't get why everyone's talking about disney ... this isn't a disney movie

  • Since Cera calls her father "Daddy" she reminds me of Ariel because Ariel called her father "Daddy" too.

  • whatever happened to don bluth? is he still alive?

  • this was out long before bambi 2 came out and it came out before bambi 1 too

  • the line wen littlefoots mother said "ill be with you ,even if you cant see me " den littlefoot said "wat do you mean " its in the bambi movie 2 if you watched it its very fimilar ..

  • Damn, I hate the part when she dies. Can't stop crying. This is the stuff Don Bluth is good at.

  • the audio's out of sync

  • anyone notice how only the sharptooths cant talk...and are all animalistic and crap...weird

  • Their brains were said to be veeeeeeery tiny.

I'm not making excuses, I'm just sayin'.

  • I swear Disney has a thing for killing off the mothers :(... but anyways, great movie! I remember watching this when I was younger. Good times... DIsney used to be great... Thanks for uploading!

  • This is not a Disney film. It is a Don Bluth film. Bluth used to be a Disney animator but left to make his own studio, where he made this movie, All Dogs Go to Heaven, Anastasia and many others. Look him up online, he's got a website up.

  • I can't believe after all these years, I still find myself screaming "Look out Littlefoot, it's a Sharptooth!"

  • i'm in my 20s. i've seen this movie about a hundred times. and i still cry when Littlefoot's mamma dies!! it's such a dark and beautiful movie, and it is a classic that will never grow old

  • the sounds offf

  • reminds me of a Bambi remake

  • im 13 and i even got a little teary when his mom died!

  • this movie is so sad, yet beutiful

  • big ass sharptooth 6:40

  • poor sharptooth 7:11

  • Or stand up strate

  • it's coz it's a kids movie: there is always a way to defeat the bad guy

  • i mean Tyrannosaurus Rex could NOT jump or climb in reality

  • *tear* thats so sad...this is awesome!!!ive never felt the drama in any other kids' movie, i mean im not happy about other people dying in movies but this one in particular is very touching.

  • Man, I felt like I was going to cry when I watched the scene which Littlefoot's mother dies. Such a powerful moment! OK scratch that I did cry, and I am 22! I love movies that move you.

  • this movie is definatly the darkest movie of the series... all 13 of them...

  • I always thought this screen and the screen where Mufasa dies in the Lion King were always the saddest..

  • don't forget the screen where Bambi's mother gets shot

  • the T-Rex sounds like Godzilla

  • Littlefoot's mother totally pwned the T-Rex!!

I remember when I was small I totally hated Cera for indirectly causing her death. =(

  • Come Cera thorns horns never play with long necks...Three thorns never play with long necks...Mother what ah long neck...That's what we are... See people I know that by heart as well... It was so cute the little flyer gave LittleFoot the cherry fruit.

  • Oooh this is such a heartbreaking scene. Bambi's Mom was a lot easier to deal with as a child, because as Chandler put it "They just stopped drawing the deer."

  • this film seems to have so many connections!

the storyline is really similar to dinosaur

4.45 is like jurassic park (with the kids in the car)

the part with little foots mum is like bambi

    ...anything else?

i love this film so much

  • ME too Great movie....the two men who made it made a ton of other movies including jurrasic park and star wars some things are similar in there works

  • never name your kid sarah/cera. i know three sarahs and all of them are badasses with serious problems. one ran away to the philippines for 6 moths, one had a huge tattoo of a bridge and skeleton on her back, and the other was raped by her moms bf as a kid. that name must be cursed or something..

  • at 8:30 it reminds me of the scene from Bambi...

  • The earthquake reminds me of that small scene from the Rite of Spring section of Fantasia

  • omg this scene makes me cry all the time..dam u littlefoot and your cuteness

  • lol 00:59

the way they talk and act is just hilarious to me.

  • Cera didn't cause Littlefoot's moms death but shes still a very mean and selfish character. I hated how she was allways in competition with Littlefoot and I also hated how she was always trying to lead everyone the wrong way. So she did ruin allmost everything LOL.

  • 00:20 XD Love that face. man is he hungry

  • is it me or when little foot shots out mother it sounds just like it does in bambi when he shouts mother

  • must be the same actor

  • Did you know james Horner did the music for this? Horner, of braveheart and Aliens fame.

  • Ahh that would explain why it's so wonderful. I always remember the music from when I was very young, it stuck in my head.

  • the sound is way behind and it's bothering me. it sort of ruins the videos.

  • u can say the same about the humanity today, different human races , racial disgrimination etc

  • 3 horns never play with long necks!

    El OH El

I Lover Sarah she is so so so so cute

  • yes!! I would have loved the movie

  • man dats bullshit

how they gon kill tha mom 20 min into tha movie

  • wow theres so much action in this :)

  • the t rex was badass

  • i absolutely LOVE littlefoot's mom. She's awesome

  • Yeah I love Littlefoot's mother too. Its too bad that she had to die. That part was too sad :( They should have made it where he thought she died, but then once Littlefoot makes it to the Great Valley, shes there waiting for him :)

  • That would be an interesting take on the movie. But then...could littlefoot's mom's spirit still lead him to the great valley?

  • Yeah thats true.....but I wish there was a way that Littlefoots mom got to live. And instead of her spirit leading him to the Great Valley, they could make it where Littlefoot gets there by memory from what his mother told him. Then when he gets there, he sees her and can't beleive it. ........i think that would be such a great ending :)

  • oomg pause it at 0:21 when little foot is opening his mouth! damn hilarious!

  • so funny

  • hey hopper, come back!

you again!? go away! that's MMMYYYY hopper! lol. cracks me up every time.

  • its really sad about littlefoot's mother and right after she whoops that t'rex ass big time

  • I still cry on the part when Little Foot's Mom dies:*(

  • Me too.

  • i love this movie. brings back lotsa old memories from when i was a child....

  • Starting at 7:33, you notice that earthquake killed quite a few dinosaurs. Especialy at 7:51. Damn...

I did not cry when Littlefoot's mother died. But I came very close too. :(

  • Why did they have to make Littlefoot's mother die??? She was pretty for an animated dinosaur

  • Lol, I dunno. It was so traumatizing for me as a child!

I always would cry so hard during the scene that she died. I'd always imagine my mother dying and what I would do without her.

Guess it's supposed to teach us a life lesson or something. Lmao.

  • think about it this way.

If littlefoots mother had not died, would you still have loved the movie as much as you do now?

  • No, but still, it's sad.

  • I love how this flim shows social segregation in the modern society, I just made myself sound smart :) lol, but this is awesome, it takes me back :)

  • Yes, Littlefoot, that's how it's always been. Never mind that Triceratops lived in the late Cretaceous and Apatosaurus lived in the Jurassic.

  • lol, that playing part was kinda racist. And i love how they don't use the real names and instead they used obvious feture names. like three horn, and long neck. lol i loved these movies.

  • Well it makes sense, because dinosaurs didn't have those latin names until humans came along to make up those names.

  • i use to HATE!! Cera.lol

  • I know, she was such a brat.

  • Its only now I realize Cera's dad is a complete racist

  • you beat me too it haha

  • In the words of the Nostalgia Critic:

"How can something that died millions of years ago make me cry? LIKE THIS:"

  • :( so sad

    *sheds single tear*

  • I cried when I was younger and I'm crying now..I love this film

  • is cera a girl??

  • Yeah. I think that it is spelt Sarah =] but yeah she is.

  • No, it's Cera.

  • for the past 10 minutes i have done nothing but cry that it hurts...wow

  • baha I'm crying xD

  • :( cryiiiing!

  • I cant belive I cry every time!

  • I'm such a sissy. I always cry.

  • is it just me or does Littlefoot crying for his mother near the end sound extraordinarily like the audio segment from Bambie? It's even got the same inflections!

  • oh my gosh im such a puss lol im totaaallly crying from this scene

  • Oh my God I am sobbing like a little baby right now. Poor Littlefoot :(

  • Man look at all that dust sharptooth's blowing out. Wonder what was he doing all day

  • D:

    LittleFoot's mom!! *bursts into tears*

God, I love this movie. XD

  • sound?!

  • wheres the sound

  • When I was a kid, I always thought they were saying shark tooth instead of sharp tooth.

  • lol me too

  • Lol.

  • funny..i heard of a dino whose name means shark tooth

  • If Sharptooth wrestled King-Kong or Godzilla, he'd make em' tremble in fear. No need for big arms or fire spitting when you can jump 2x your own height or leap 3x your own length!

  • did anyone else thought the fight between sharptooth and LF's mother was epic...like for a kid movie

  • 3 questions enter my mind when I see the first movie.

    1. Where is littlefoots dad?

    2. Why didnt Cera's dad help defend her against the sharptooth?

    3. How come the sharptooth in this movie look more vicious than in the sequels?

  • 1) In one of the later movies we find out Littlefoot's dad went off to find a place they could live. Perhaps after he left, Littlefoot's mom found out about the great valley, and ventured there, hoping to find his dad there too.

    2) She wandered off, he probably diddnt notice she was gone since everyone was asleep.

    3) Because the sequels needed to be more kid friendly.

  • 9:10 and I always start to bawl my eyes out.

  • cera's such a bitch

  • I know I always HATED her when I was little.

  • I don't think so, she's acting like her father wants too.

  • What ever happened to Littlefoot's father?

  • Revealed in a later movie.

  • He left the herd to find better land, in a sequel its shows him meeting his father.

  • D:

    ...D:

  • I only like series 1-9. They get stupid and commercial/mainstream after that.
