  • I like the fact that Korean version made "I will break my family's heart~" into more "I will disappoint everyone" which was what they wanted to relay but I guess the rythm didn't fit or something :)

  • Awesome~ x]

Nice voice. I've always wondered how this sounded in Korean. ^^

  • where can i find lyrics of this song in korean?

  • Cette versione la veillis

  • It's not BoA singing, guys. It's someone else. Lena Park did the Korean pop version in the end credits. BoA had nothing to do with it. Besides the movie was made in 1998. South Korea probably dubbed it by 1999. BoA didn't debut until 2000.

  • It sounds like that really famous Korean musical actor. The one with the really prominent cheekbones.

  • WOW!!! This sounds exactly like the American version!!

  • Beautiful..

  • I just LOVE korean language since I first saw Dae Jang Geum :D Do you think it's difficult for a foreigner to learn korean?? I'm hungarian btw so my own language is quite difficult already...

  • it might be difficult to learn it at first, but I think if you did it would be cool. :D

if you type global talk show, you can see foreigners all speaking korean ^-^

  • I found it a little bit hard, but of course I also know Japanese! And Iearned that first! XD but it's a really fun language!

  • Cool! I wanted to learn japanese since I don't remember when and I always thought that korean was such a cute and beautiful sounding language so I'll probably start learning one or another soon!

  • They are such amazing languages!

  • HA, me too. xDD. I loved it after I saw Jang Geum.

  • I ove BoA love her ver

  • Boa sang this?? o______o I always thought it was someone esle<3

  • This is definitely not BoA. It sounds nothing like her.

  • agreed. anyone who's actually LISTENED to boA would know that. boa has a distinctive singing voice.

  • Her voice is absolutely beautiful!

  • i like all verisons

  • "slanted eyes" aren't stereotypical, they're beautiful.

  • especially in lots of asian countries like korea XD

  • Very nice version. :)

  • BoA sang a song with this exact tune it was absolutely beautiful~ i love this ver. so nice

  • She did? What's the name of the song. I LOVE Boa.

  • It's called "Reflection". I found Boa's version on limewire X3

  • I disagree I think there is plenty of emotion in it.

  • she has a very very nice voice...~

  • the best versions of this is the chinese one, this, and the swedish one.

  • wow this sounds really good o__o so far i like the chinese, english, and this ver ♥

  • it's nice !

  • Oh Wow! Thanks So Much! Dis one is the BEst!!! It sounds so young! U hear da japanese version she sounds so old!

  • wow good voice...5 stars

  • I think this is my fav version ever.

  • great!

  • luv this ^^

  • Her singing is really pretty!!

  • Oops I mean "Bride". sorry

  • her stage name overseas in lena park. park jung hyun in korea

  • on the topic, she's a good singer, i like it, but her voice is too soft comparing with lena park's pop version and other versions in my opinion.

  • it sounds very nice, but the words are kind of like seperate with stops, but in one word. its kind of hard to speak (i think) but its nice.

  • hmm..koreans speak words in korean without stops like any other language speakers. ^^

  • Did she just say "Why I cant be Sexy" on 0:05 in korean?

  • haha not sexy, but 색시'sekshi' which means a bride. she said "why i cant be a nice(or gentle) bride."

  • No your "Sexy" sounds like it, but in Korean it means "Family"

  • uhh lol it kinda sounds like that, but it really she was saying sek shi - bride.

  • the lena park version is so much better!

  • I looooooooove this language it sounds so nice^^

  • mulan sound a little older here,,,,

the lyrics and translations please, thanks

  • it's nice

  • lena park sang another version?

  • Wow O.o

  • um... shes a girl genius

  • This is my favorite version of this song; I think it conveys the emotion of it the best. :)

  • Wow, Korean definitely takes the cake as far as this song goes. *_*

  • how awesome!!!!!!

  • She has a kind of soft voice, it's so beautiful for this song~ ^_^

  • i have the BoA version though..they both sound good

  • BoA did not do this song. The Korean pop version was done by Lena Park.

  • I love the Korean version, it's so clear and I can understand every word

  • I thought Mulan should have quieted down and respected her ancestors. I wouldn't sing in there. XDD

  • Hahaha, Graceape XD!

  • It's Grace and Peace together.

    But that is very clever.

    Graceape... hmm....

  • Oops

ROFL. I realize what I did wrong. My bad XDDD!

  • Korean is a lesser known language compared to Japanese, but it's still an awesome language.

  • I like the Japanese version the best but this is also very good. Love it :D

  • Wow~ The korean version is really good ^-^b

  • korean would be a cool language to learn

maybe i'll take it up in college

So Jung Lee is perfect for singing this song :)

  • Aww.. Korean is soooooo beautiful!!!

  • This is sung by Sojung Lee

  • where is lena park's popversion? .. it that removed? popversion is really good

  • Her voice sounds very soft and gentle in this version! =3

  • Korean people sing so well.

    But I don't.

    Why is that?

I was in Korea, and random people on the streets all sing like pros. Damn..

  • Three Letters...

    N-R-B..

learn them.. and use them... haha

  • lol.

    I have perfect pitch.

I was in band and choir for 5 years.

I know notes, rythmn and beat.

    My voice just isn't good...haha.

  • I found out lena park version. Can't link it. Anyways It's with Final Fantasy. What's reflection got to do with FF?

  • Oh! Who is this singing? I'm korean so i can tell it's definitely not lena park. Since I'm not a fan of Boa, I'm not sure but it's not Boa either.

  • this is not lena park its not her style

  • No I meant about the Boa version thing. Sry I forgot to include that >.>

  • can someone subb with full lyrics i wanna sing it in korean.

  • To other people asking about the singer:

BoA did do a version of this song, but if you listen, this one does not sound like BoA.

  • I don't think so , BoA was pretty damn young when it was released and beside , it doesn't sound like her .. but how it sounds is your opinion XD

  • She could have sang it in a different time. But still I am sure thats not BoA, but it could have been... =/

  • Who sing?

  • Lena Park (aka Park Jung-Hyun).

People, BoA is an excellent singer, but she DID NOT sign this song! Give credit where it's due! Don't make assumptions! :D

  • This songs not done by Lena Park. Its done by someone else.

  • yes it is. It's LENA PARK. god dammit ppl. Compare the korean version with other songs like Ai no Jealousy or Moon. The singing voice AND ranges are the same. Not to mention the emotion and tactics >.>

  • It is Lena, you're right.

  • Well, do you want me to e-mail it to you?

  • Who sings the Korean version of this song?

  • beautiful

  • ahhaa i think koreans better than the japanese version..i ono why..

and i just like how its an asian setting with an asian voice actor..it fits perfectly..

  • There's a version of this song in Korean where Lena Park sings this. It sounds nice, so I might put it up sooner or later for everyone to hear

    :)

  • the video's amazing quality, thank you!

  • Wow. Beautiful!

  • So beautiful! That's really better than english version.

  • pretty close to the original

  • i'm really big fan of boa

but i like original version than this..

  • the other one is not sung by boa its by lena park

  • Her voice sounds exactly like the english version!!!

Woow. Korean dubs are the best!

  • sorry, the previous lyrics r not right, so here's the correct one.

  • Anyone notice how easily that make-up came off and that there was nothing on her sleeves? I did

  • well sure it is a animation, so they don`t have to show the make-up on her clothes, it wouldn`t look so good 0_~

  • This is Mulan's dubbing artist. not lena, nor Boa

  • Isn't this Lena Park?

  • No. This is Not Lena Park. This is someone else.

  • i know this isn't BoA.

But i just think her version of this song is the best.

and i really need the lyrics to it!

  • this isn't boa...

  • but she does sing this song. i think boa's ver is better suited for this movie

  • Ohmy. I'm a big fan of BoA, and in result have seen many of your videos of both piano and singing... I'm sad to see you can't recognise BoA's voice, as the version you're talking about [other Korean], wasn't BoA. It was Lena Park/Park Jung Hyun. I would have thought you'd have recognised if it was BoA's voice or not. I think that version is better suited too though :)

  • oh GOOD... it would have been disappointing if it were BoA. I thought it wasnt her a couple months ago and got into a big argument with other users on youtube but then they kept insisting so I started to recognize it as "boa's version".

  • Oh, we've all been there. I've been listening to BoA for nearly 3 years. Whereas I know you're a big fan too. They've probably heard her once.

  • yeah.. i think some idiot started it by uploading reflection korean version on limewire and typed "boa" in the artist column. i happened to see it when i typed in searches for all songs with "boa"

  • Same in Bearshare.

  • this version is really beautiful. i enjoy watching many diffrent language songs all from mulan and i think this and the cantonese one are the best. i actually think that the pics and song match really well together.

  • BoA's version is the best.

But I can't find the lyrics anywhere. If anyone has the Korean version of the lyrics, let me know.

  • apparently sung by Lee Sojung, first ever Korean female to sing on Broadway musical.

Her English is perfect, and if she had sung this version in English, would've been spectacular.

  • My favorite version of this song.

  • wow I've been listening to all the different laguages of this song...it's pretty interesting

  • sweet voice

  • i don't like her voice,sorry :P

  • Don't see why; it's gorgeous imo. :) To each his own.

  • I'm Korean... I wish I could speak the language. :P

  • you can't speak korean? why not?

  • lol if he wasn't born in a country that korean is requirement didn't take korean classes of course he can't speak

  • Me too. ^^ But I'm adopted so I don't know Korean either... T^T

  • this version is wonderful

    anyone have lyrics?

    latin letters

  • whis I kenw how to talk Korean

  • I liked it, but still is the norwegian my favourite

  • I think Park Jung Hyun's version is much better. Her singing is awesome and the lyrics are prettier.

  • i ve been to korea twice it is awosome over ther

  • nice, i'm korean as well, (referring to KisaRocks)

  • NA NEUN JOA-GEUREONDAE MOT JOA-HAEYO(in Korean Romanisation)

I like it but it isn't very good(as in loud)(English)

  • That was awesome!!!

  • If you all like the Korean language, I recommend that you watch some Korean TV dramas. Many good ones are right here on youtube. I like especially "Princess Hours" and "Autumn in My Heart."

  • I can't handle korean drama much, a bit overdramatic in my opinion, but everyone else seems to like it:)

  • I'm Korean and yes I agree some drama are overdramatic. But if you want to see some real overdramatic watch Spanish drama!

  • Whoa! My initials are AJS, and my last name is Shin:P Is Shim your last name?

  • I've never had it before but it does sound good. ^^

  • Ok i've decided next language i'm going to learn is korean

  • cool im korean!

  • yes, it is Christina Aguillera's song. i have the cd. (please don't ask why)

  • This is not the original. The real one is by Lena Park "Mulan - Reflection (Korean) 한국어"

  • its abit too soft

  • Please stop this. All ALT F4 does is close all your windows. Thank you for uploading this. Her voice is a little weak though.

  • ko ma wu!! ;)

  • so beautiful!!!

  • this is a movie version. its lyrics fit to the movie but lyrics of pop version by Park is different from this.

  • wow nice
