I met Sylvia Lancaster in Whitby on the 30th of October last month. It was a great honour to meet her. She was really happy that I told her that I wear my S.O.P.H.I.E. wristbands all the time.
I always my wear my wristband, how awful that Silvia spent her life trying to help the very kids that killed her daughter. She is a very strong lady! I'd love to see one of the SOPHIE charity's awareness workshops. She's fighting ignorance and more power to her elbow! To have had such a terrible thing happen and try and make something positive out of it.

I have suggested we bring back the Stocks and every Goth Weekend in Whitby, have to gang transported there, left in the Stocks all weekend, where people are allowed to humiliate them (but not actually touch them) as in point and laugh at them, maye throw the odd chip at them.
Then when the weekend is finished, they go back to their cells and are told it will happen again in 6 months.

Sophie's mother is amazing . I'm sure that Sophie is proud of what her mother is doing for her , even if she's watching all the concerts and everything that's done in her memory from above .
Poor girl .
I hope something bad will happen to her killers in jail so that they'll never be free again .

I just want Sylvia to know that i look at her not only as an amazingly strong woman, but an inspiring person. She should be an example to all of us on how to persevere. Also I certainly think Sylvia is doing Sophie and Rob proud. Best mother in the world.

I was at the sentencing on monday, Sylvia acted with dignity in the face of this horrific act, she is so strong and deserves the upmost respect. On a more personal note, I want to say thank you to Sylvia for all the work she is doing to raise awareness we all owe you a great debt of gratitude.
I don't know if Rob will see this but I just want him to know that everyone is thinking about him and can't imagine the pain he is feeling, our thoughts are with you always. Stay strong and do her proud.

I don't know if you'll ever read this but if you do Sylvia I just want to say you really are such an amazing woman. You've came through so much in the last few months I can't even begin to imagine what it must have been like for you. What you are doing with the S.O.P.H.I.E campaign is truely inspiring and already you've helped to change the lives of people for the better. Stay strong and remember we're here whenever you need us.

Rob and Sophie's mum are stronger people than the families of the thugs will ever be. To remain so dignified after friends & family of the thugs sniggering at them both whilst in court listening to the details of this horrific crime, well, I think that should be grounds for contempt of court.
