Sorry guys, but mass produced beer in America is the same as massed produced beer in the UK. Piss! Especiallly so when you think of Bud. There's nothing to it, no depth, its fizzy piss! See history ot the soda pop!
Lager needs a weight to it, and a depth of charicter, there's some good brews coming out of micro breweries stateside, we even have seen the odd one or two in the UK. Anchor steam a good one
Im a craft beer drinker, My favorite being "Samuel Adams" Mmmmmmmmmm!! Its true that All across the country, There are so many tasty beers being produced localy, And are very worth tasting, Made the way beer should be made. No offense to Yuengling beer drinkers, But that stuff is made with grits!! Thats all adjunct!! Thats also the only beer Ive ever had that makes me itch something awfull :(( Btw Michelob Lager got rid of all adjuncts in there beer, And it does taste pretty good!!
Mass-produced beer of all kinds can't beat craft and micro brew beer. There is amazing beer being brewed around the world. Buy local, buy good beer with no added preservatives. Support your local microbreweries!
well i like guinness, and trappist dark beers...most dumb american family dads drink bud light and coors light...fuck that boring bullshit drink a real fuckin beer.!!
hahaha yeah if you can tolerate it then light beer is the way to go for a while until you can just cut it out to a bare minimum. I'd say keiths light is my favorite light beer.
@ladwin997 Don't dismiss all American beer as the mass produced swill found on most shelves. There are many world class breweries in this country. Among them are Three Floyds, AleSmith, Bells, Cigar City, Russian River, Founders, Stone, Kuhnhenn, Goose Island, Deschutes, Great Divide, Lost Abbey, New Glarus, Dogfish Head, Terrapin and MANY more. Check them out.
I remember watching this documentary in early January '06 and longing to get friends together. Thanks a lot for this series! There is one on the history of beer worldwide that is also very interesting. Have you watched it?

There aren't any mass produced commercialized American beers that are any good. Budwieser, Coors, Miller, etc. are all trash.
