  • today we are as equal all natives

  • Greatest Horsemen and warriors of all time remember that Cree

  • our history with your tribe and people wasnt great but you never won nobody did iin the end we are all the same but to the Blackfeet poeple and the Blackfeet confedarcy below the border lines of the candian and U.S border we had greater enemys to worry about but this is said of all plains tribes the Most Feared where Blackfeet and Sioux remember that Cree and in the last battle we defeted your tribe we called it when the river ran red with your peoples blood war is what Blackfeet were best at

  • Cree well native let me tell you this I'am Piegan "Pikuni" from Montana the last great Indian battle was Cree and Crow that attacked a camp of sick "many chief" or bloods of the Blackfoot Confedarcy a camp weakend by smallpox and illness weakend them and your people knew this and attacked it and they sent for Jerry Potts and a band a war party of Pigens where where formed and on there way attacked back at you Crees and crows slaughtering and pushing you back to where you came from

  • A Time Which We Will Never See Again........I Am A Plains Cree Indian Of The Cree Confederacy My People Fought The BlackFoot Confederacy Since the First Whites Came Into Contact With Us The Last Battle Is Just Known To My Tribe As The Battle Of The Blackfoot They Won The First Battle But We Won The Last Haha But Now I Can Ride In Black Foot Territory Without Getting Ambushed Like My Ancestors Before Me Its Good To See Are Tribes At peace

  • hey you SikSika, why not have some fun! challenge the local Arabs in Calgary to a horse race! one of youre mustangs against one of theyre arabian horses....watch>>"Horses & Muslims (From Hadiths) "..........good shots of nice horses!

  • I feel kinda bad that willie is the chairman now and not Earl just because he promised 200 dollar percapitas from the tribes money thats not even there.

  • I support you, treaties must be honored.

    You are a solvent nation.

  • Oki nistu Mitsikitubi (Siksika)

A truly inspiring post...thankyou Carol and Dale

  • My name is Maurice and i think it was my great great Grandparents who were pure blooded SikSika i am proud to have Blackfoot blood running threw me veins

  • 2- in Canada, in 1880's, SikSika took to agriculture with a flourish! the SikSika produce was so good on the free market that local white farmers began losing profits. and, you guessed it, they ran whining to Ottawa! a law is passed. no SikSika could now operate in the off reserve free market. .....those pigs said "You must be farmers"! then you be great farmers and they stab you in the back!! the bastards!

  • hey? doesnt this create a political difficulty? because if this dude is boss of SikSika in south, who is boss of SikSika in north across the border?

  • The Blackfoot Confederacy presently consists of four different tribes, the Pikuni/Peigan, North Peigan Pikuni, Blood/Kainai, and Blackfoot/Siksika. Most tribal historians would agree that the first two mentioned were the same tribe, but separated by the 49th parallel or as we know it today, the U.S. Canadian border.

  • Having said that, I am not aware of any political difficulties. Naturally, there may be some friction between the three Blackfoot Confederacy tribes located up in Canada. I couldn't tell you though. Anyone from one of those tribes?

  • @SIRgabzalot i am the great great grandson of a full blooded blackfeet indian, im not sure how they migrated to west texas but im positive it wasnt on their own accord.. thats the furthest i can trace back my ancestry

  • both sides of my family say that we have black foot in our family. how can i trace my roots to the tribe?

  • You would have to contact enrollment. Go to the Blackfeet Nation's website for more information.
