  • a car named after a guy?

  • Heh, this reminds me of when I had a '53 Henry J and a friend wanted to put a 392 and cast iron auto into it. I didn't think it would hold up to a 1000 motor and transmission ;)

Ended up with a 215 Olds aluminum V8 with auto, ran pretty good.

  • @jacktheripped ...1000 pould motor and trans.

  • i think id rather have the 58 belvedere

  • do do do desoto!

btw someone i know has a henry j id like to see more of it but i try to avoid it cus the guys one of the biggest bull shitters you ever heard!

  • Henry J,s make great gasser

  • I don't think I've ever seen a Henry J in person before. It's a cool find, but I'd have to say that '58 DeSoto would be my dream car. The one in your video even has the added chrome dress-up package that became available on DeSoto's half-way into the model year, I believe.

  • is that a 1958 fury to the left

  • Im trying to get me a 1955 T-Bird in someones garage. Its in beautiful condition. just been sitting for years.

  • you should fix em up or sell them

  • We did sell the Henry J for about $2,100, the Desoto we want to keep and fix up.

  • I would have sold the DeSoto ......you take the Henry, slap in a 350 chevy spray on some grey primer and its on the road smoking mustangs in 2 months for dirt cheap. The DeSoto will have you in tears before long

  • I wish I could say I knew someone with classics like that in their backyard, whatever the condition.

  • that a DeSoto???

  • Yep it's a DeSoto. =)

  • yer dude right on

  • that was cool.....next time make a vid of showing the interior and engine of the Henry J

  • yeah sweet desoto dude, had a 59 myself, and was restored.

  • cool desto :D

  • Are you going to restore the Henry J?

  • We actually sold it about a month ago for $2500. The people are going to restore it to be a bracket racer again. =)

  • What are you gonna do with the Desoto?

  • My Dad bought this car in 1972. It is the one he has had the longest, so we are going to restore it.

  • Does it still have the 361 V8?

  • Yep, it does.
