  • This looks 1986-87. The last models sold 1988 had the Wider spoked 18 inch wheels. The front mudguard also looks like its an early model. This is a nice bike though . Ride safe , and look out for others.

  • @LASTINLIVE I think they had the old style wheels for part of the model year, ownership says 1988 and its a j model on the frame and motor, i have a complete 1986 all in boxes and apart for spares...I do ride safe with full gear always, sometimes I like to let it out a bit and enjoy the light weight and power.

  • @jlamure Thanks for that - re wheels. My bike is becoming more standard now , as when I bought it it had been modified [ streetfightered ] . The 1100 I have had for 3-4 years now , I have had 4 other GSXR 'H ' models but 750cc. Thanks again , and please share more videos of this great bike - a lot of people appreciate seeing them - I get lots of views on my gsxr vids. MIles with smiles mate .

  • I like it too, just uploading a video of it running with the new pipe and jetting

  • really a great bike you have there: greetings from Italy

  • Since this vid was made the jetting was upgraded to factory pro stage 1 (new needles and jets 132 mains same as was in it just new) and also upgraded air filter to K and N in the box filter, ordered and waiting for a D + D pipe and new exhaust gaskets. Before changes took carbs off and opened them up one diaphram was ripped, swapped for a good one and it was running a lot better with wheelies in first no clutch just gas it up and up it went. Gobs of power now
